OV Innovations Teeter Pouch

There are already tons of bottle pouches on the market but sometimes the best way to take a fresh look at an existing product is to tear it down to its most basic form. By stripping it down and removing clutter, you often introduce versatility, allowing the end user to explore their own applications. That is exactly what OV Innovations did with their Teeter Pouch – a minimalist, MOLLE compatible bottle pouch with a ton of uses.

The Teeter Pouch is made from FirstSpear’s proprietary 6/12 fabric which is lightweight but very durable. The “pouch” consists of a single panel of material that can be secured to as few as 2 columns and 4 rows of PALS webbing via shockcord that is woven into the PALS webbing itself. The design is so minimalist that the surface the Teeter is attached to serves as the “back” of the pouch and it can be collapsed completely flat when not in use.

This design gives the Teeter Pouch a tremendous amount of adjustability so that it can secure a wide variety of items in addition to the water bottles it is designed to hold. OV Innovations states that it can even serve as a “beaver tail” if attached to the front panel of a pack.

I suspect people will find all sorts of ways to used these pouches. Check out the Teeter Pouch at OV Innovations.

Bladerigs Leatherman Wave OWB Pouch

Bladerigs created a very slick Leatherman Wave sheath for a friend and it turned out so well that they are offering it for sale. The sheath is unique in that it can hold the multitool whether it is open or closed! It can even secure the tool via a soft loop with snap in either position. That is slick and very, very handy.

The sheath includes a large Tek-Lok to attach it to your belt/gear. Check out the Leatherman Wave OWB Pouch at Bladerigs.

Exotac Titanium nanoSTRIKER XL

If you asked to see my keychain right now, you would find an Exotac nanoSTRIKER and it has been that way for the last 5+ years. I have reviewed the nanoSTRIKER here on JTT. It is an excellent fire starter and while the standard version is pretty cool, a special edition titanium version is hard to resist.

Titanium nanoSTRIKER XL

Exotac machined a limited number of Titanium nanoSTRIKER XLs and they are currently only available at Massdrop. You may not be familiar with how Massdrop works but you should be because it is a neat site. Basically, it allows people to band together to combine their buying power to receive a mass purchase discount by pledging to purchase a specific item. They have items in several special interest categories including every day carry. The items offered there tend to ooze style which is why a special titanium edition of the nanoSTRIKER XL is a good fit.

You can check out the limited edition Titanium nanoSTRIKER XL at Massdrop (you’ll have to log in to view it).

Snake Eater Tactical IWB Magazine Pouches

The new IWB Magazine Pouches from Snake Eater Tactical are designed to be thin, light, and to move with you. They are constructed from a thin layer of heavy duty elastic that has enough grip to conform to and retain several different magazine types or other gear like tourniquets. The retention is strong enough that it will actually retain shorter magazines that do not bottom out in the pouch.

The Velcro One-Wrap belt loop is sewn to the top of the pouch allowing it be taken on and off without removing your belt. The loop can also be easily sized to a wide variety of belt widths and trimmed with scissors if necessary.

OSOE BBD Bag

OSOE’s latest bag, the BBD Bag, is now available. This compact, full clamshell opening, bag has a ton of versatility built in.

The BBD Bag is flexible enough to serve as anything from a compact EDC bag to something like an active shooter response bag. Its outer surfaces are covered with OSOE’s color matched PALS webbing (8 columns x 3 rows). The opposing interior surfaces are covered with loop material to accept any hook backed organization pouches.

Picture 8 AR-15 magazines arranged in 4 stacks of 2 magazines each side by side and you have rough idea of the size of the bag but it can be stuffed beyond this 8″ x 12″ x 3.5″ size. It is large enough to carry a fair amount of gear but not so large that you’ll overload it. If you need to expand it’s capacity, you can add pouches to the exterior PALS field.

The BBD Bag features a double-zippered clamshell opening design that gives full access to all contents. It can be carried via a large grab handle or the included removable shoulder strap that utilizes G-Hooks to attach to the bag.
