OSOE BBD Bag

OSOE’s latest bag, the BBD Bag, is now available. This compact, full clamshell opening, bag has a ton of versatility built in.

The BBD Bag is flexible enough to serve as anything from a compact EDC bag to something like an active shooter response bag. Its outer surfaces are covered with OSOE’s color matched PALS webbing (8 columns x 3 rows). The opposing interior surfaces are covered with loop material to accept any hook backed organization pouches.

Picture 8 AR-15 magazines arranged in 4 stacks of 2 magazines each side by side and you have rough idea of the size of the bag but it can be stuffed beyond this 8″ x 12″ x 3.5″ size. It is large enough to carry a fair amount of gear but not so large that you’ll overload it. If you need to expand it’s capacity, you can add pouches to the exterior PALS field.

The BBD Bag features a double-zippered clamshell opening design that gives full access to all contents. It can be carried via a large grab handle or the included removable shoulder strap that utilizes G-Hooks to attach to the bag.

New Batch of Limited Edition Shirts from Magpul

Magpul just announced the release of a batch of limited edition shirts. The Banana Clips shirt is particularly awesome.

From Magpul:

Every year during the NSSF SHOT Show in Las Vegas, there is a midweek underground race event which breaks up a busy work schedule by pitting a number of company’s teams against one another in one-off, home-brewed vehicles, with mandatory themed costumes. This past year’s jungle theme sparked some interest in the exclusive artwork that we created for our team.  So for the first time, we are now producing limited runs of the race-themed artwork for those who couldn’t attend the race.

The “Banana Clips” Tee pokes fun at incorrect terminology for standard capacity magazines, and is very similar to an element of the team Magpul uniform, while this “RAB” Tee commemorates Magpul’s own Baboon Race Bike.

The Fine Cotton T-Shirt has been designed and engineered from the fiber to finished garment to be the softest, most comfortable, mid-weight T-shirt available. Using 100% ring spun cotton and preshrunk, these T’s are constructed with a cut-n-sew pattern exclusive to Magpul. This method of construction features a side seam that controls twisting and torque and is finished off with our own rib collar and custom neck tape.

The Megablend T-shirt, in a similar weight to our Fine Cotton model, offers a more athletic look and feel, with its soft breathable blend of 50% cotton, 38% Poly, and 12% Rayon.

Preshrunk and constructed with Magpul’s own Cut-N-Sew pattern engineering, this tough T will hold up to plenty of abuse and repeated wash cycles.  We finish it off with our own rib collar and custom neck tape.

Limited Edition Liberty or Death Shirt from RE Factor Tactical

RE Factor Tactical has created some great t-shirts over the years but this might be their best. The limited edition Liberty or Death shirt has the famous Patrick Henry quote emblazoned across the back of the shirt with a graphic of the stamp used during the Stamp Tax of 1765 on the front. It’s a good looking shirt with a strong message of liberty and you have to love that.

ESEE Izula Tertiary Knife

What if the ESEE Izula and a push dagger had a baby? Well, you would have something like the upcoming ESEE Tertiary Knife.

esee tertiary with g10

ESEE designed the Tertiary with SWAT officer Lee Smith to serve as a defensive tool for military and police (it will work just fine for prepared citizens too where legal). Push knives are easy to carry at the belt line, easy to access, promote solid retention, and are general intuitive to use so this form factor makes good sense for the intended purpose of this knife.

ESEE cleverly worked in the Izula branding all over this knife. The blade is unmistakably derived from the Izula with the addition of a sharpened swedge. The handle even features the large loop that Izula users will immediately recognize.

The Izula Tertiary will be available with or without bolt-on G-10 handle scales. The provided sheath is the standard Izula sheath that may be a touch bulky but it works better than most factory sheaths. It should work well with belt carry or on a static line.

Hopefully there will be a single edge version available to accommodate jurisdictions with preclusions for double edge blades.

Keep an eye on the ESEE website for details.
