Rally Around ITS Tactical

Bryan and Kelly Black of ITS Tactical have built into this community a lot over the years. Now the community has a chance to give back.

Trey Smith, Bryan and Kelly’s son, was recently involved in a life threatening motorcycle accident. The accident left him unconscious and severely injured, requiring him to be airlifted to a local trauma hospital. He suffered skull fractures with an accompanying brain shear, a shattered shoulder, a broken C2 vertebrae, multiple facial lacerations and will require reconstructive dental work.

Trey is now on the road to recovery but it will be a long process. There are two ways you can help:

You can donate directly via GoFundMe that has been set up to cover medical expenses: gofundme

ITS Tactical is also offering a #TREYSTRIBE Morale Patch. 100% of the proceeds from the patch will go toward helping with what is sure to be a long road to recovery. Find the patch here: #TREYSTRIBE Patch

ITS Tactical TourniQuick

ITS Tactical’s new TourniQuck is a pouch designed to carry, fully cover, and even deploy CAT and SOF-T tourniquets. It makes use of a similar one-handed pull-to-deploy design found on ITS Tactical’s ETA Trauma Kit Pouch. When the user pulls the red marked (included red Velcro ONE-WRAP) loop, the outer surface of the pouch breaks away and unfurls the tourniquet fully so that it is immediately ready to place around a limb.

The TourniQuck can be mounted a number of ways including vertically or horizontally on a belt, vertically on a backpack strap, or vertically on PALS webbing. It is made in the USA.

ITS Land Navigation Starter Pack

Land navigation can be a fun hobby when applied toward orienteering and it can be a vital skill when you are off the trail (or even on it). Like any other skill, there is plenty of gear and training that will make land navigation easier. You can spend a fortune amassing all that gear from various sources… Unless, someone does the leg work for you.

ITS Tactical is offering the ITS Land Navigation Starter Pack via their webstore. It comes with everything you need to get started in land nav except the map and compass.

The contents include:

  • DIY Pace Count Beads Kit w/ 26” Length of Paracord and 13 Beads (paracord color may vary)
  • Reference Card Pack Including:
    • UTM, MGRS, USNG Reference Card
    • Declination & Compass Rose Reference Card
    • Latitude Longitude Reference Card
    • Time, Speed, and Distance Reference Card
    • Millimeter Grid Reference Card
    • Inclinometer for Slope Angle Reference Card
  • Pocket Magnifier
  • Pocket Sized UTM Slot Tool (Protractor)
  • ITS Golf Pencil
  • Book – Using your GPS with UTM Coordinates (3rd Ed.)
  • Map Math Instruction Sheet
  • North Reference Sheet
  • USGS Topographic Map Symbols Pamphlet
  • Locating Coordinate Grid Information on USGS Maps Pamphlet
  • Tools for Working with UTM, MGRS and USNG Coordinates Pamphlet

This kit is impressive in its how complete it is but also in its price. Many of those items, especially the reference cards and map/UTM tools can cost several dollars a piece when purchased separately. On top of that, you likely wouldn’t be able to get all of them at the same place which would leave you paying shipping on multiple orders.

ITS Modular Morale System

There are a lot of patch mat options now and most of them fit in the same mold. ITS Tactical’s new Modular Morale System is very unique among them for a number of reasons.

The panels consist of UBL soft loop fabric wrapped over 3/16″ foam on a HDPE backer. This allows it to accept both hook backed patches and push pins for mounting patches without hook backing. Each 12″ by 18″ panel has the soft UBL material wrapped all the way around to a border on the back which allows the panels to be mounted with the included adhesive Velcro strips (you can stable the Velcro strips to the wall for a less permanent installation).

These panels hold their shape better than most panels thanks to their HDPE backers. This allows them to be mounted together neatly and seamlessly to create large panel installations.

ITS Hypalon Concealment Wallet

ITS Tactical’s hotly anticipated Hypalon Concealment Wallet is now available. This wallet is constructed almost entirely from Hypalon which makes it thin, light, and just about bomb-proof. Like any good wallet, it has a cash slot and plenty of smaller slots for business and credit cards. Now on to the good stuff…

The Hypalon Concealment Wallet isn’t called the concealment wallet just because it’s thin or because it keeps your cash out of sight. No, it’s called the Hypalon Concealment Wallet because it helps conceal some very cool tools. The wallet features concealed slots for carrying the various components of ITS Tactical’s Wallet Entry Kit which is made up of proven components that are common to many entry/E&E/lock bypass kits. The Wallet Entry Kit can be purchased as an option with the wallet and includes:

  • (1) Diamond Wire Blade
  • (1) Split-Pawl Handcuff Shim
  • (1) Quick Stick
  • (1) EZ Decoder
  • (1) Ceramic Razor Blade
  • (6) Feet of 188 lb. Test Kevlar Cordage
  • (6) Feet of Stainless-Steel Coated Leader Wire
  • (1) Flat Ti Bogota Entry Single Rake
  • (1) Flat Ti Bogota Entry Triple Rake

It can also be called a concealment wallet because it uses RFID blocking material to conceal your personal information for those who would prey on it. The wallet can be purchased with an optional RFID blocking shield component.

This wallet does more than just carry your loot. Check out the ITS Hypalon Concealment Wallet.
