AGP Arms makes some of the coolest 10/22 accessories on the market. Their take down kit, which turns a standard Ruger 10/22 into a lightweight, return-to-zero, take-down rifle is a prime example of this. The kit is now available in Hunter Orange which is an ideal color for a survival rifle. I typically don’t care for brightly colored guns but in this case it serves a purpose and actually looks nice (though I would probably skip the orange muzzle device).

The Brothers of Bushcraft designed BOB Knife has been a smash hit for TOPS Knives and for good reason – it is a great knife. I own one and it strikes a great balance between cutting performance and durability thanks to its somewhat unique modified “Scandi” edge and large, hand filling handle. There have been several iterations of the BOB Knife so far, all of them featuring a powder coat finish in various colors.
Many users find that the coating reduces cutting performance and just ends up rubbing off during some common tasks like batoning. It is fairly common for people to actually strip the coating from their knives. The newest version of the BOB Knife is the first without powder coating from the factory. RE Factor Tactical’s new Reversible Rain Fly Cover is a packable rain fly designed to work their ASO Bag or most 3 day assault packs. One side of the water resistant cover is international orange for signalling and visibility while the other is camouflaged (tan or Multicam). Both sides have loop material fields for attaching IR or visible light reflective patches and ID. It features toggles that attach directly to the ASO Bag and a draw strong to secure it to other bags. The cover packs into an integrated stuff sack and the entire packages weighs 6.2 ounces.

Low-Pro Products makes several great rail mounted accessories like optic and light mounts. One of their newest is their Offset Flashlight Mount Surefire X-Series. As you might have guessed by the name, it is designed to mount a Surefire X-Series light, or other rail mounted lights like the INFORCE WML, offset to the rail on which you place the mount.
Their mounts do a great job of keeping the light close to the rail and have a simple and robust, set-screw style mounting interface. The mount interface is also aggressively skeletonized to strike a balance between durability and lightweight.
