Beez Combat Systems has upgraded their chest rigs to include a new “H” harness. The new harness features 2″ wide shoulder straps for additional comfort. It is attached to the chest rig via 1″ side release buckles placed at the proper spacing to allow the chest rig to be docked on plate carriers like the BCS LVR, Mayflower R&C offerings, and Velocity Systems offerings.

If you are a Tavor owner you likely remember when I first mentioned that Geissele Automatics was working on a trigger for the popular bullpup design. There was some question as to whether the trigger would ever see the light of day. Well, I have good news. Development of the Tavor trigger is still moving forward and a rapid prototype is already being tested.
If I owned a Tavor, I would start saving my pennies now so I had cash in hand the moment this new trigger dropped. The thought of a bullpup with a Geissele trigger is nearly enough to make want to buy a Tavor myself.

The ROSCH Works SLA1, an adapter that allows you to use Surefire “E” Series tailcaps on the ROSCH Works SL1 that I previously mentioned, is now available.
The SLA1 replaces the momentary tailcap switch that comes standard with the SL1 Sight Light. It screws into place on the rear of the SL1 and then the Surefire “E” Series tailcap of your choice (not included) can be screwed onto the back of the SLA1. This brings two notable switching options to the SL1 – tape switches and “clickie” switches.

OC Tactical’s newest patch panel, the Banner Patch Panel, is now available. It has the same great quality as their larger panels but it is more compact at 30″ x 10″. These panels are made from a single, large piece of Velcro with 1000D Cordura nylon backing. The edges are bound and eyelets are installed to make it easy to hang.

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with the Mystery Ranch NICE Frame. I love its flexibility, modularity and versatility, but it is shorter and flatter through the back than I prefer. Thankfully, Oneiros Valley is around to make me fall back in love with my NICE Frame with their line of ergonomic improvement add-ons.
The latest of these add-ons is the MEAN Pad. The MEAN Pad is a bulked up lumber pad that serves 3 purposes. First, it adds additional padding in the lumbar region which makes it fit the typical user’s back better. Second, it prevents the pack from sliding around via a patch of non-slip material. Finally, it can actually tuck under the ballistic plate in your carrier, providing a bit of a stand-off, to make wearing a pack with body armor more comfortable.
The MEAN Pad is adjustable for thickness via foam inserts. It is made from 500D nylon and features quality ITW Nexus hardware. I have been working with their LLP Gen 2 and OV Belt Guides for review and they are excellent so I have every reason to believe the MEAN Pad will be excellent too.
