The Haversack from The Hidden Woodsman

The Hidden Woodsman has an entire line of traditional, outdoorsman gear recreated with modern materials and hardware. This includes their own interpretation of a possibles bag called The Haversack.

The Haversack 12″ x 11″ x 4″ shoulder bag constructed from 1000D Cordura nylon and designed to carry essentials for woods bumming. It features a large main compartment and an interior pocket. The main compartment is lined with either 500D Cordura and 420D pack cloth in a high contrast color. The bag is closed with a large flap secured with dual side release buckles. The exterior sides of The Haversack have PALS webbing for attaching MOLLE compatible pouches and the back features a sturdy loop designed to carry a hatchet or small axe.

Black Sheep Warrior Thin Blue Line Patch

Our friends at Black Sheep Warrior and Megiddo Tactical Group have a new patch you may want to check out. The PVC patch features the Black Sheep Warrior logo with a thin blue line running across the entire patch.

[One] dollar from every patch sale goes towards helping build the Sgt. Greg Moore memorial in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The memorial will honor Sgt. Greg Moore (K27), a Coeur d’Alene police officer shot and killed on duty in May 2015, as well as other fallen officers around the nation.

ALG Defense AKT-E Now Shipping

That ripping sound that you hear is the sound of AK shooters across the country pulling out their wallets fast enough to tear their back pocket. There is finally some news on the much anticipated ALG Defense AKT-E, an enhanced version of their AK Trigger (AKT). ALG Defense is in the process of shipping pre-ordered AKT-E units and it is already showing up at some retailers though is not available on ALGDefense.com as of the time of this writing.

First Ever Gunstruction R700 User’s Choice Build

This is the first ever Gunstruction R700 User’s Choice Build!

Gunstruction is a virtual firearm building tool that can be used to help plan your next AR-15, AR308, or Remington 700 based firearm build. They provide a wide array of virtual parts that can be compiled in any way that the user specifies. They are also able to track the parts used most often by their users and these parts are then compiled into monthly User’s Choice Builds. These builds are always an interesting look into consumer trends since Gunstruction’s user base and part selection are fairly broad.

Since this is the very first R700 User’s Choice Build, there are no trends to comment on yet but it is certainly interesting to see Magpul’s continued presence across the AR-15, AR308, and R700 User’s Choice Builds.

Thin Blue Line Tees from Tactical Distributors to Benefit Spirit of Blue

Tactical Distributors has two tee shirt options with thin blue line motifs for sale to benefit Spirit of Blue, a non-profit foundation “dedicated to the enhancement of officer safety and vitality throughout the law enforcement community by promoting public awareness for their protection and fulfilling safety equipment and training needs”. $10 from the sale of each shirt will go to Spirit of Blue.
