Scalarworks On Point Sights – Now Available

When Larry Vickers asks if you can make fixed AR-15 sights. You make fixed AR-15 sights.

Two years ago I approached Scalarworks about making a set of fixed iron sights; what they came up with has exceeded my expectations. I’m now running Scalarworks iron sights and Aimpoint Micro mounts on my BCM carbine in all of my training classes. Scalarworks Low Drag Mounts and On Point Sights are the current state of the art. – Larry Vickers

Sneak Peek: Hard Point Equipment/Max Venom Product Group Collaboration Knife

Max Venom Product Group and Hard Point Equipment will be collaborating on a new knife design. The knife will feature many of the same design and manufacturing processes utilized in Hard Point Equipment’s Manticuda Knife. The image below represents one of the first steps in the process. It will eventually be translated into a 3D model which can then be used to code for machining.

This knife is recognizable as a Max Venom design from across the room. It’s straight lines and slightly dropped/offset blade echo their previous designs like the Dimachaerus. This will be one to watch.

CDM Gear BC47 AK Light Mounts – Now Available

The CDM Gear BC47 AK Light Mounts, that we recently gave you a sneak peek about, are now available.

These light mounts clamp to the barrel and provide a flashlight ring for for use with a 1″ diameter light. Their anti-rotation design ensures that they can not spin on the barrel and they have a hole to accommodate the cleaning rod.

There are two models available. The BC47-1 positions the light below the bore axis which may be more comfortable for those using a vertical grip. The BC47-2 places the light above the bore axis which may be more comfortable for those without a vertical grip.
