Boker Plus Colubris

Boker and their Boker Plus line has been on a serious roll lately. One of their latest offerings is the Colubris, a production version of a custom American Kami design.

The Colubris’ 440C, modified Wharncliffe blade is .180″ thick and 4.25″ long. It has a stonewashed finish and machined green G-10 handle slabs. The handle has large hollow bolts and a separate lanyard hole. It comes with a kydex sheath.

The beauty of the Boker Plus line is that you can get your hands on designs from some of the most talented knife makers and designers at a fraction of what an original would cost. Check out the Boker Plus Colubris at BladeHQ.com.

Spec Ops Brand – Leather Combat Master Knife Sheath

The Combat Master Knife Sheath from Spec Ops Brand is a classic piece of a gear. It is a functional knife sheath that can be mounted a variety of ways. I own several of them simply because most knives come with terrible sheaths and many custom knives come with no sheath at all.

Spec Ops Brand is trying to gauge interest in a leather version of the sheath and I have to admit, they look pretty darn cool. Share your opinion at SpecOpsBrand.com.

SAR Global Tool ODDjob

If you have seen a picture of the SAR Global Tool owner Spencer Reiter recently, chances are you noticed a slick little fixed blade on his belt. He has been carrying and refining the design for a long time now. The knife that we now know as the ODDjob is finally ready for public consumption.

The ODDjob is a compact, EDC worthy, 5″ fixed blade knife that can be carried on the user’s neck, belt, or wherever else you can stash it. It is hand ground from 1/4″ thick CPMD2 steel that has been hardened to HRc 59-60. The sheath is molded from Kydex and it features an adjustable lanyard.

Check out the clever lanyard that the ODDjob sports! It is a short section of paracord that is reinforced so that it is always open in a loop shape. The loop makes it easy to withdraw the knife from the sheath and retain the knife when you are working with it.

The ODDjob is available at SARGlobalTool.com.

Skallywag Dagger from Skallywag Tactical

There is a lot to like about the Skallywag Dagger from Skallywag Tactical. It is a compact, self-defense oriented dagger. It has a compact, minimalist handle that locks into your hand with finger grooves and a large finger loop rather than bulky handle slabs. This compact design allows it to be carried close to the body while the large finger loop ensures that it can be accessed quickly.

The Skallywag Dagger is CNC machined from 440C stainless steel. It comes with a kydex sheath that can be carried a number of ways including IWB. I am a big fan of carrying a fixed blade inside the waistband near my center-line. It is nice to see new options that are well suited to that carry method.

Check out the Skallywag Tactical Facebook Page for more information.

EGL Multitasker Series 3 Pouch

EGL Multitasker Pouch

Extreme Gear Labs recently showed their Multitasker Series 3 Pouch. It is designed to hold a Multitasker Series 3 (and I suspect other generations of the Multitasker will fit too), all your bits, and there is even room for a Patriot Products Combat Optic Tool. The pouch features a hook and loop closure with loop material coverage on the front flap.

This pouch keeps your tools at hand so you can feel like Tactical MacGyver except without all the pansy anti-gun stuff. Check out the EGL Facebook Page for more details.
