Battle Arms Development AR-15 Lower Receiver News
I bet the guys at Battle Arms Development (BAD) are the types that don’t like the food on their plate to touch.
They recently showed images of the custom containers they had manufactured to move their lowers around their shop in individual foam swaddled luxury. The new containers will ensure that the high level of fit and finish that BAD is building into these lowers isn’t ruin by careless handling. Something as simple and two lowers knocking together carelessly might blemish the lower enough for it to fail their QC checks… hence the AR-15 Ark.
If they are putting this much care into just carting these things around the shop, I can’t wait to see how they turn out.

R.A.T.s Tourniquet at RE Factor Tactical
The R.A.T.s Tourniquet has a lot going for it. It is affordable, easy to carry, and very fast to use. Its form is very different than most TQs (tourniquets) on the market. It consists of a metal cleat and a long, flat bungee strap which begins to slow arterial blood flow as soon as it is wrapped around the extremity before it is fully tightened and secured.

Manticore Arms ARC LOK
Manticore Arms has released details of their own direct-connect mounting system called ARC LOK. The new system works with their Tavor handguard and, presumably, other accessories that are still in their pipeline.
ARC LOK consists of a what Manticore Arms calls ARC LOK Tabs which closely match the size and shape of the slots that they pass through when they are in the closed position. Once they are placed through the slot and the user begins to tighten them, the rotate until they are stopped by the stationary portion of the tab which effectively locks them in the open position. The user can then continue to tighten the bolts until the desired tension is reached. It is best explained by watching the video below.
