Patch Collecting: Deafening Silence PVC Patch

The original embroidered Deafening Silence Patch from MADCAT Aviator/Operator is one of my favorite patches. It looks great and it has a tremendous story behind it. The new PVC version is just as great looking at the original. The PVC construction allows for greater detail so the patch can be made smaller while remaining just as legible as its larger counterpart.

The new PVC version of the Deafening Silence Patch is available from MADCATAO.com.

TOPS Knives TIBO

The knife world is infatuated with small, skeletonized handle neck knives for good reason. They are nearly as easy to carry as a folding knife but offer the strength of a fixed blade. TOPS Knives offers several knives that fit this description but their newest, the TOPS TIBO, is one of the best looking examples that I have seen.

The TOPS TIBO has a 6 1/2″ overall length with a 2 3/4″ blade. It is made from 1/8″ 1095 steel and features a sweeping curved edge with a full height flat grind. The handle is skeletonized to reduce weight and it has jimping to enhance grip in key places.

The TOPS TIBO certainly looks like a very useful knife. Check it out on TOPSKnives.com.

10-8 Performance Glock Sight In Tool

Have you ever wondered what front sight height you would need on your Glock to achieve a 6 o’clock hold, a center hold, or even just to sight in at a specific distance? 10-8 Performance can help you take the guess work out determining what front sight height you need with the Glock Sight In Tool.

The Glock Sight In Tool looks to be extremely easy to use. It is basically just a precisely milled nylon front sight blade. You install it, shoot a test group (which will be low), sand the top of the Glock Sight In Tool to raise the point of impact, and repeat the process until you achieve the desired point of impact. Once you have the sight sanded to the correct height, you can measure it to determine which front sight height will work best for your Glock and desired point of impact.

This is about as simple and low-tech as a tool can be and I mean that in a good way. This tiny piece of plastic solves a very common problem. Check out the Glock Sight In Tool at 10-8Performance.com.
