Cole-Tac Twist Pouch

One of the things that makes the Multitasker Twist so handy is that, when you are using it, it doesn’t always need a pouch. You can just clip it in your pocket or on your gear. However, when you store it in your range bag or backpack you’ll want to keep the included bit carrier with it or it will migrate to all kinds of hard to find places. That is where the Cole-Tac Twist Pouch comes in.

This slick little pouch is about as simple as it gets and that is a good thing. It has two pockets – one for the Twist tool and one for the bit holder – and a Velcro secured flap closure. The pouch is made from 1000D Cordura and available in a variety of colors.

The BadgerStrap – The Newest Belt from Carbon Tactics

Carbon Tactics has used Kickstarter to successfully launch a handful of belts. Their newest crowdfunding effort is the BadgerStrap – a new take on their very slick Quicky Buckle/Belt.

The new buckle has the same magnetic closure system as the Quicky Buckle and that is a good thing. It is very easy to clasp and release but very secure. It also has a similar sliding belt tension bar which is designed to lock down on the webbing aggressively – especially when the belt is under tension.

The Badger Buckle is available with 3 different patterns machined directly on its face. There is a simple flat version, a square pattern that is reminiscent of a PMAG, and hexagon pattern. It is available with either a single layer of webbing or a double layer. I own two of the double layer belts and find them to be the ideal stiffness for supporting a holster comfortably.

They’re Back – Complete Uppers from Ballistic Advantage

Ballistic Advantage has been teasing the release of something new for weeks and now we know what that something (or somethings) are. They are now offering complete uppers again.

The uppers are available with a variety of different Ballistic Advantage barrel options including the popular BA Hanson profile barrels. They all also feature various lengths of a special Ballistic Advantage branded version of the VLTOR Freedom Rail. The uppers do not come with BCGs, charging handles, or a muzzle device but these can be added at the point of purchase.

New from Blue Force Gear: Vickers ONE Sling

If you take the venerable Blue Force Gear Vickers Combat Applications Sling (VCAS) and put it on a diet, you would probably end up with something pretty close to the new Vickers ONE Sling.

The Vickers ONE Sling (VOS) shares many of the same features with the classic VCAS. It has Blue Force Gear’s excellent webbing, their extremely durable custom hardware, and the quick adjust slider with contrasting pull tab. However, unlike the standard VCAS, this slimmed down version has 1″ webbing (the VCAS has 1.25″ webbing). This makes the VOS more easily compatible with some firearms like the CZ Scorpion Evo or others with integral 1″ sling loops. It also makes for an extremely lightweight sling for applications that do not require a wider or padded sling.

Mission Spec Flanksavers – Side Armor for the EOC

The FlankSavers directly replace the EOC side straps for a clean and easy install. Supporting up to an 8×8” armor plate or can be used without armor if the user is only looking to add more PALS area to their carrier. The EOCs ability to independently adjust the height of the rear plate bag is not compromised with the addition of the FlankSavers and the ability to integrate industry standard chest rigs is preserved.
