That Triple 7 Gear CORE Nano Wallet, It’s So Hot Right Now…

Triple 7 Gear’s crowd funding campaign for the CORE Nano Wallet is smashing all expectations. It currently sits at almost 3X it’s original funding level and there are still 11 days left in the campaign. The result of such success is that stretch goals are being smashed and value is being added.

Triple 7 Gear set a stretch goal of $20,000 to add RFID blocking material to the wallet and that goal was smashed over night. So, now you can add RFID blocking to already long list of cool features.

Tahoma Field Knife Kydex from InnerBark Outdoors

The Tahoma Field Knife, a large fixed blade designed by Andy Tran of InnerBark Outdoors and produced by TOPS Knives, is one of the finest large survival knives on the market. It comes from TOPS with functional sheath but there is always room for improvement.

InnerBark Outdoors worked with Red Feather Gear to develop is a kydex dangler sheath for the Tahoma Field Knife. The sheath has a welt to add rigidity which is nice for such a heavy knife. It also features a closed dangler loop that can not be accidentally opened and a well formed thumb ramp to aid in removing the knife from the sheath.

Magpul has taken care to make the adapter is low profile as possible and bevel the corners so that it does not become a snag hazard when it is mounted to your rifle but not in use on a tripod. Lone Wolf Dist Glock Firing Pin Safety

lone wolf plngerIf you want to lighten and smooth your Glock trigger a bit, one of the easiest parts to target is the firing pin safety. Generally, you can slightly reduce the firing pin safety spring weight without effecting the reliability and safety of your Glock. Savvy Glock shooters also used to modify the firing pin safety by rounding it to a dome which reduces the weight and bearing surface. This modification was often done by chucking the firing pin safety into a drill and shaping it with stones or sandpaper.

Lone Wolf Distributors’ (LWD) new firing pin safety is already dome shaped. It is a steel part that weighs 25% less than the OEM part. The reduced weight and reduced bearing surface lightens and smooths the trigger pull since the trigger bar must lift the firing pin safety during the take-up stage of the Glock’s trigger pull.

LWD sells their firing pin safety for just $3.48. At that price, it doesn’t pay to spend the time modifying your OEM part. Just buy one from LWD and keep your OEM firing pin safety as a spare.
