Elzetta Lights on American Pickers?
If you keep an eye on History Channel’s American Pickers next season you might spot some familiar flashlights. A dependable flashlight like those from Elzetta is a must when you are in Frank and Mike’s line of work – unless you like Tetanus.
Multicam Enhanced SOPMOD Stocks from B5 Systems
The good folks over at B5 Systems have been working on getting their hydro-coating process just right for some time now. Well, I have some good news. They have perfected their process and there is a batch of Multicam coated Enhanced SOPMOD Stocks headed out the door. There will be more following soon, including coated SOPMOD Bravo Stocks. Consider this a warning for your wallet.
Training Plate Patch from Warrior Trail
Warrior Trail makes a full line of non-ballistic training plates that can be used in place of your ballistic plates during training so you don’t have to subject them to wear and tear. I have written in the past about how I believe training plates can be a great investment for the non-military, non-police shooter since we do not have the backing of a supply chain should we break our plates. However, the use of training plates should be accompanied by vigilance on the part of the user to take care that a plate carrier with non-ballistic plates is never fielded accidentally in a situation that calls for ballistic plates. That is where the Training Only Patch from Warrior Trail comes in.
Most plates carriers have some plate around the high, front of the plate pocket that has loop material for affixing patches and ID. The Training Only Patch can be affixed there to indicate that the plate or armor carrier currently contain training plates instead of actual ballistic plates. I currently use reflective patches to serve the same purpose but it is somewhat ambiguous to people who don’t know my system. This dedicated Training Only Patch is a better and safer solution.

Fight and Flight Tactical LLAMA Pack Cargo Panel
Here is a sneak peek of the Cargo Panel that Fight and Flight Tactical is developing for their LLAMA Pack. The Cargo Panel’s purpose is two-fold. First, it expands the cargo capacity of the LLAMA Pack. Second, it serves as a smaller, stand-alone daypack or E&E pack.
The Cargo Panel features pack-away shoulder straps and all the buckles necessary to dock onto the LLAMA Pack. The front of the Cargo Panel features a ton of PALS webbing coverage and a front admin pouch. The main pouch has a half-zip, top loading design. The back panel of the Cargo Panel features webbing loops that can be used for lashing gear or for creating a retaining area with shock-cord for soft, bulky gear like jackets.
Look for other tailgate options soon including Medic, EDC, and Gunslinger versions. Check out FightandFlight.com.
