CRKT Kangee and Chogan Tomahawks

To say that Ryan Johnson from RMJ Tactical knows a thing or two about tomahawks would be an understatement. He recently collaborated on 2 tomahawks, the Kangee and Chogan, with CRKT and people are understandably excited about them.

CRKT T-Hawks

Both tomahawks feature full tang construction from .23″ thick SK5 Carbon Steel which is a great choice for its toughness and reasonable price. They come with PALS compatible kydex sheaths and glass filled nylon handle slabs. The Kangee features a spike poll and a fully sharpened top edge that runs from the bit to the poll. The Chogan has a hammer poll and the top edge is only partially sharpened for the length of the bit.

Getting What You Want Part 5: Blogs and Facebook

There are signs that the panic buying is beginning to stabilize but certain items are still in short supply. In my quest to finish a carbine build that I started before the panic, I came across several helpful blogs and Facebook pages that kept me up to date on what was in stock.

AR15Newscom

If you are looking for AR-15/M4 components, keep an eye on AR15News.com. Ben has done a great job of listing various lower receivers, upper receivers, magazines, and other components as they become available.

The Mrgunsngear Facebook page has been a useful tool for me as well. He does a great job of staying on top of various AR-15 and AK items that are available. I also subscribe to his Youtube channel but all the in stock item spotting happens on the Facebook page.

This is certainly not an exhaustive list. You might consider following the blogs and Facebook pages of various retailers that carry the items that you are interested in. Some pages will even tell you in advance when something will be available. All of our advertising partners keep Facebook pages and they are a great source for information on what is in stock.

Noveske Rifleworks Multitask Keychain

Open a beer, tighten a screw, loosen a nut, and rearrange someone’s face all with the same tool. No wonder they call it the Multitask Keychain!

The Multitask Keychain is a titanium keychain tool that weighs less than an ounce. It features a flathead screwdriver, a bottle opener, a multidimensional hex wrench, and the ability to be used as an impact weapon when held properly. This is one pretty slick little tool.

Check out the Multitask Keychain at NoveskeRifleWorks.com. While you are there make sure you buy the Noveske branded assault hammer before they are banned! After all, hammers kill more people than “assault rifles” every year according to the FBI.

Beez Combat Systems Short Barrel Scabbard

Puma92BountyHunter_RossiRanchHandscabbard

Beez Combat Systems introduced their Shotgun Scabbard last year. Now they are introducing the new Short Barrel Scabbard – a more compact version of the original, made for more compact weapons.

The Short Barrel Scabbard is designed to carry a short barreled shotgun or rifle vertically on the wearer’s back. It allows the weapon to be drawn with one hand, without removing the scabbard from your back. It has adjustable waist and shoulder straps and BCS can customize it with PALS webbing and Velcro fields.

Check out the Short Barrel Scabbard on the BCS Blog and website.
