MISSION SPEC GAINS CONTRACTS FROM COVERT AGENCIES BY ADDING DENIM LINE
Beginning early next quarter, Mission Spec, LLC™ (KS) will be adding denim to their existing Essentials Only Carrier™ (EOC) and Shoulder Savers™ product lines after receiving requests from “multiple covert agencies”. The requests simply stated the need for an ultra low-profile and light-weight armor option that could easily “disappear” on agents during covert or undercover tasking.
“We had the ultra low-profile and light-weight requirements already figured out with our EOC,” says Brent Keltner with Mission Spec. “The only thing left was deciding on the best pattern and texture to use for the covert nature of the request.”
It is unknown if Mission Spec will be making the new denim line available for commercial release.
Mission Spec is also seeking the services of Chuck Norris as the new spokesperson for all Mission Spec gear. This is the result of an email poll sent to all Mission Spec customers asking who they would like to see as the new spokesperson. While Mr. Norris was not a selectable option for the poll, Norris won by an astounding 91% via the write-in field. “We listen to our customers and they know what they want,” said Keltner when asked for the reason behind seeking the new spokesperson.
The GIBBORIM Gun Belt
The GIBBORIM Gun Belt is the result of collaboration between LIION DEFENSE and Mission Spec. The belt features a stiff nylon core wrapped in 1000D Cordura Nylon and can be purchased with 3 different buckle options: ITW G-Hook, ITW GTSR (side release buckle), and RAPTOR Buckle.
The outer sheath of 1000D nylon gives the belt a finished appearance and allows for the easy application of colors and camo patterns that might not normally be available on nylon webbing belts.
Mission Spec EOC Promo Video
Mission Spec put just as much care and detail into their new EOC Promo Video as they did the EOC itself. After you watch the video, you will realize how true that statement is.
The video covers a number of topics that prospective and current EOC owners will find extremely useful like how to use the EOC’s unique independently adjustable rear plate pocket and a trick to make your EOC play nicer with 2 point slings. It also covers design features and construction like the clever way Mission Spec designed the EOC to put the weight of the plates on the shoulder straps, bypassing the plate pockets.

Mission Spec EOC in Ranger Green
Last week we mentioned that Mission Spec was now building their EOC in a couple of the Kryptek patterns. This week they announced that Ranger Green (RG) would be joining the lineup and they showed off the first RG EOC that went out the door which happened to sport some very nice custom features. Those features include vertical webbing and loop covered PALS webbing both of which make docking a compatible chest rig a breeze.
You all are probably getting tired of hearing this from me but this is what makes dealing with small businesses in this industry great. Mom and pop shops turn out great gear at competitive prices and they are willing to work with you. Many of them can even turn the work around quickly so you aren’t waiting for months.
