Mission Spec whipped up a red, white, and blue version of their EOC Plate Carrier last summer and apparently it was a hit. You may remember seeing it in a previous post on JTT. Now you can buy one.

As a company that is happy to accept custom work orders we are asked, fairly consistently, if Mission Spec can build a Red, White, and Blue EOC plate carrier for novelty use. The answer is of course, yes. We have built many of these for different customers and are happy to do it. Customers wanting pricing information on a custom build such as this should use our website contact (MissionSpec.com). It will speed up the process if you include your shipping address with the initial inquiry.

Please note that building a product in this color scheme dictates that we must use some non-MilSpec materials. In other words this specific item SHOULD NEVER be used in a life support capacity. It will also NOT come with our limited lifetime warranty. It is purely cosmetic and to be used only for novelty purposes.

Mission Spec has announced the release of two new products for the tactically aware market to help keep operators organized and on task. The first of the two products is the Mission Spec TacNotes™. Built from 1000D CORDURA® in a 3×3” configuration the TacNotes™ offer a disposable reminder system that allows operators to keep important mission details in mind. Due to their hook backing the TacNotes™ are able to stick to just about anything in your AO and with the loop front the TacNotes™ are stackable.

The TacNotes™ have been in testing with a certain Tier 1 unit for several years now. [Pictured] below is a prototype model recovered from Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 3rd, 2011.

Also new from Mission Spec is the ERLINS™ (Extreme Resilient Low Infrared Note System). Due to the high concentration of Type-A personalities and pre-workout supplements in the mission briefing room we have all experienced the frustration of ripped briefing notes. The ERLINS™ are impervious to tears, creatine spills, erasers, and anti-American activity.

Both products are NIR (near infrared) compliant, Berry Compliant, made in the USA with US sourced components, and ITAR controlled via the U.S. Department of State because an organized enemy is a dangerous enemy.  Colors available now: Black, Coyote, Ranger Green, UCP (already on clearance). Mission Spec made the world’s most patriotic plate carrier recently. Check out this red, white, and blue Essentials Only Carrier that they whipped up just for fun.

The new Rigit Kit from Mission Spec serves as an adapter that allows any PALS compatible surface accept the vertical male buckles and hook Velcro backing found on industry standard mountable chest rigs. The kit consists of six pieces that affix to columns of PALS webbing. Two of the pieces, referred to as Alpha Pieces, have ITW QASM buckles at the top and loop Velcro on their surface. The other four pieces, referred to as Bravo Pieces, have loop Velcro on their face.

Installation seems to be quite easy (see the video below). While this is shown in use with the Mission Spec Essentials Only Carrier (EOC), it should work with other carrier that have sufficient PALS coverage.
