Grey Death Adder Merch from Kit Badger

Kit Badger has released a line of Grey Death Adder merch to commemorate a man (or woman) and their instant classic internet comment. I’ll let you read it yourself:

Clearly, this is a man (or woman) with a lot of sage, tactical wisdom to share… a tactical Yoda, if you will. Some naysayers have suggested that this was merely a troll and yet, the comment was deleted after it received attention. That is not the work of a troll. That is the work of a real snake-eater who has been scorned by the attention.

This is the type of comment that goes down in internet lore forever… the type of comment that gets turned into an entire line of t-shirts… mugs and phone cases too. All of the merch has a depiction of your new spirit animal, the Grey Death Adder, on the front. The backs of all the shirts feature various quotes from the comment, complete with the straight-up-murdering of the English language.

You’re going to have to collect them all… unless you are an “ass terrorist”.

You’re Doing It Wrong – Double Knot Your Shoes Like a Champ with Kit Badger

We all learned how to tie our shoes at some point in our lives. It probably wasn’t long after that moment that we also learned that the regular method used to tie shoes is not sufficient for many activities which is why you learned to double knot your laces. Well, if you are like me, you learned the wrong way.

I recently showed Ivan at Kit Badger a different way to double knot – one that holds as tight (if not tighter) but can still be untied the same way as a regular bow. Someone taught me this years ago and when I showed Ivan, he was skeptical but it only takes one trip up a mountain to make a believer.

Pine Needle Tea with Kit Badger and JTT

Pine needle tea is easy to make, tastes great, is good for you, and it might be growing all around you. It is one my favorite hot drinks on the trail when it is too late for coffee (if that is even a thing).

You can make it from a number of conifers but Douglas Fir is my favorite. There are some needles that should be avoided like Ponderosa Pine but it is really up to you to know your area and which trees are safe.

It is easy to make. Just gather your needles. You may need to trim the bases off if they are extra sticky or woody at the base. Bring water to a boil and then take it off the heat. Add your needles and steep to taste. I always advise not boiling the needles because it can bring out a sort of turpentine taste.

Arm yourself with a bit of knowledge and then give it a try.

AR Pistolero Patch – Now Available at Kit Badger

If you’ve been around JTT for a while, you might remember the AR Pistolero patch. We designed these patches with DSTEIN DESIGNS and they were produced by Combat Swag. They are top notch patches. Recently, we closed our online store which cut off supply of the patch for a time but I am happy to report that they are available again… from Kit Badger.

If you dig AR pistols or just cool patches, you need one. Check them out at KitBadger.com.
