The FireAnt is a lighter weight, more compact, and fuller featured version of EmberLit’s original stoves. It was previously only available in titanium which is excellent but understandably pricey. Now EmberLit has released a stainless steel version of the FireAnt that costs considerably less than the Ti version and still weighs just 6.5 ounces.

I have good news and bad news.
I’ll start with the bad news. Sneaky Bags is discontinuing the Shoulder Utility Bag or SUB. This is my favorite bag that they make but it is also one of their more complex bags from a manufacturing standpoint.
These bags are basically an entire chest rig/belt rig in a messenger bag form. They let you carry primary and secondary magazines along with other gear in a way that is easy to access and relatively low profile. Circle 10 AK and Manticore Arms have collaborated to bring the new AK Flush Fit Side Fold Adapter to market. You may remember the sneak preview of this adapter from a few weeks ago.
This AK Flush Fit Side Fold Adapter is designed to be used with the 4.5mm side folding trunnions commonly found on Bulgarian AKs (it is not for converting fixed stock AKs). It is for use with mil-spec diameter stocks and the end of the adapter features a threaded cap for storage. The innovation here is the relief cut in the side of the tube that allows it to fold against the receiver, covering the optic rail.

The Fighter Design Featherlight Rifle Sling looks like a typical padded sling at first glance but they have managed to tuck something pretty innovative into the pad. The sling is an adjustable 2 point design with side release buckles at each end of the pad.
This sling weighs less than 100 grams which is incredible for a padded 2 point sling. The exterior of the pad is made from lightweight rip-stop material that is durable but keeps weight to a minimum. The real weight saver can be found inside the pad. While most slings use foam, the Featherlight Rifle Sling uses expanded spacer mesh (often found on backpack back panels). That is very clever.

You know that guy in the internet AK meme that is saying “Nyet, rifle is fine”? Well, even he wants one of the new Krebs Custom AC-15s.
The AC-15 is a thoroughly modern AK with features that shooters will love but collectors and AK purists will hate (but secretly love). This Saiga based, 7.62x39mm chambered AK features a 14.25″ cold hammer forged barrel with a permanently attached Krebs 4 Prong Flash Suppressor. The extended Krebs UFM rail provides plenty of real estate for gripping the carbine and KeyMod for mounting lights, slings, etc.
Krebs Custom has worked out a way to reinforce the receiver cover so that there is no movement during recoil and the receiver covered mounted rear sight returns to zero after the cover is removed and reinstalled. There is a short scope rail where the rear sight would typically be, allowing the user to mount a micro red dot sight so it will co-witness with the iron sights.
The AC-15 comes with Magpul furniture. Like every Krebs gun I have ever handled, care has been taken to remove sharp edges. It is finished with black KrebsCoat.
