New Signet Ring Model – Coming Soon Wise Men Company

Wise Men Company’s Signet Ring, a karambit-like ring attachment for the Spyderco Delica, has been generating a lot of interest. They stated from the start that other models would follow and it looks like we won’t have to wait long. The Signet Ring will be available for the Spyderco Endura/Matriarch in the near future and we have the picture to prove it!

Wise Men Company will open pre-orders for the Edura/Matriarch Signet Ring in January. In the mean time, check out the Signet Ring for the Delica at Wise Men Company.

Prohands Tactical

This is interesting. Prohands, makers of grip strength training “hand exercisers”, makes what they call the Prohands Tactical. It is basically one of their hand exercisers with a visible laser affixed to it in an orientation that is similar to the bore of a handgun.

Grip strength exercises improve both recoil and trigger control. The Prohands Tactical takes that step beyond by helping your train your hand to function with minimal sight picture disruption.

It is very difficult to move a finger, like your trigger finger, in isolation. As you move your finger to manipulate the trigger, other parts of your hand move which in turn may move the gun in unintended ways. Some of this movement can be overcome with grip technique and trigger finger placement. However, training to isolate and strengthen the muscle groups involved in the movements can also help.

The idea with the Prohands Tactical is that you can place a target at a distance and attempt to keep the laser on it while you run through your grip exercises. You are theoretically training to isolate the movements of your hands and strengthen your grip at the same time.

The laser sight is removable so that the Prohands Tactical may be used as a normal hand exerciser.

Tardigrade Tactical Tacticool Bow Tie

Pop quiz: You need to attend a formal occasion but you also need to be decked out from head to toe in tactical gear. What do you do?

You could reach for your Multicam neck tie but it would dangle down in front of your plate carrier, inhibiting your access to magazines and clogging up your “workspace”. That won’t work.

Answer: The Tacticool Bow Tie from Tardigrade Tactical.

Tardigrade Tactical, based in Denmark, specializes in “custom product development for military personnel and law enforcement officers.” I came across their Tacticool Bow Tie in my Instagram subscriptions and knew I would have to share it here. I mean, if you have to look dapper in your tactical kit, a bow tie is the way to go.

Check out TardigradeTactical.dk and @TardigradeTactical on Instagram. Even if you aren’t in Denmark, you should check them out. They make some very cool stuff including a clever MOLLE panel for low profile armor carriers.

Bastion EDC Spinners

If you are one of those people who fidgets constantly or has to do something to keep their hands busy, you probably know about spinners. Every day carry items that you can fidget with have been around since the dawn of time whether its a “worry stone” or a mechanical pen.

Spinners like the new EDC Spinners from Bastion are like those items but with a dash of precision machining, premium materials, and cool guy design sensibility thrown in. They are perfectly balanced objects that are meant to spin on a bearing for a long, long time. You can spin them to your heart’s content. It sounds strange if you haven’t tried it but it can be very satisfying – like spinning a top but more hands on.

Bastion’s EDC Spinners are machined from titanium because that is how Bastion rolls… or spins. They also have textured blue G-10 inlays and rotate on a precision ceramic bearing. They are available in 2 sizes and gold or silver anodized finishes.

Check out the EDC Spinners at BastionGear.com and see their Instagram feed for video of the EDC Spinners in action.
