Even if your pup isn’t a working dog he will appreciate a collar like the Fight and Flight Tactical Proioxis K9 Collar. This bad boy is made from 1.5 scuba webbing that is covered with 1.5″ mil-spec webbing. It features a 5″ loop field for adding Fido’s name tape, a 1″ parachute-grade cast V-ring for attaching a leash, and a 1″ welded loop for attaching tags. The Proioxis K9 Collar comes standard with a side release buckle but there is an optional Cobra Buckle upgrade.

PMAG 30 AK MOE

People have been asking Magpul to make AK-47 magazines for years and now they are finally getting their wish. Magpul announced the pending arrival of the PMAG 30 AK MOE, an all polymer AK-47 magazine.

Eyebrows are already raising at the announcement of this magazine. All polymer magazines have a terrible track record with AKs so people, myself included, are understandably skeptical about the durability of the PMAG 30 AK MOE. However, I also believe that if anyone can pull it off, it is Magpul. It would be foolish to dismiss these magazines without giving them a chance given Magpul’s track record. Magpul has already announced a future version with more metal reinforcement like the Bulgarian Circle 10 magazines.

According the Magpul website, the PMAG 30 AK MOE will be available late summer 2013.

The Patch Panel

The Patch Panel is an online retailer that carries nothing but patches and related items. I recently came across them when I was looking for a call sign patch for a friend of the blog. Not only did I find custom call sign patches, but they also carry a ton of really unique patches.

One of their newest items is a double sided CallSign patch. They can customize the patches with any 4 characters for you. One side glows in the dark. The other is IR reflective. The patches are available with a number of different colors and camo backgrounds.

They also have a IR, glow in the dark, and visible light reflective name tapes. I haven’t seen anything quite like them. They are a cross between a call sign patch and a name tape.

The Patch Panel even has patches that pull their own weight. Their Item Carrier Patch has three elastic loops that can be used to secure batteries, pens, markers, and chemlights.

I can already tell that coming across the Patch Panel is going to cost me some money.

Beez Combat Systems AK47 3 Mag Shingle

There really aren’t many magazine shingles available for the AK-47. Thankfully, Beez Combat Systems is trying to rectify that with their new AK47 3 Mag Shingle.

The new shingle holds 3 magazines in a format that is perfect for the front of a plate carrier. It has BCS’ typical large pull tabs on the bungee retainers. The magazines can be oriented to face in either direction. This magazine shingle also has a trick up its sleeve. There is an internal pocket behind the magazine pouches that is secured with 2″ Velcro to ensure that the panel doesn’t sag.
