Be Heard: New or Used GLOCK?

We recently discussed whether or not your trust in GLOCK handguns has been shaken as they continue to have ongoing issues with their Gen4 and newer Gen3 handguns. The vast majority of you expressed that you trusted the GLOCKs that you own and have proven on the range but that isn’t really what I was after so I think I’ll rephrase the question.

Let’s say that you have the choice between a brand new Gen4 GLOCK and an older, used Gen3 GLOCK for a handgun training course that you were attending the next day. Which would you choose assuming all factors are the same (price, accessories, etc.)? Does a perceived loss of reliability affect your decision?

You guys are on a roll lately. We have had a ton of great discussion on these Be Heard posts.

We recently discussed concealed carry handguns and several people mentioned that they carry GLOCK handguns. That made me wonder if the very public problems with the Generation 4 GLOCKs shaken your trust in GLOCK at all.
