The B5 Mayan Receives an Upgrade
The B5 Systems Mayan is one of my favorite logos in the industry. I guess that since that whole 2012 end of the calender thing turned out to be a whole lot of nothing, the B5 Mayan is celebrating with some new furniture for his AR.
The previous version sported a quad rail and an Enhanced SOPMOD Stock.
The latest version of the Mayan is rocking his SOPMOD Bravo Stock and KeyMod Hand Guards.

New and Improved OC Tactical Store
OC Tactical’s new web store is live and looking good. It is now easier than ever to get your hands on patch panels, CAT Traps, and all kinds of other good stuff.
ITS Tactical VMP
ITS Tactical has teamed up with Battle Systems LLC to create the Visor Marker Panel (VMP). The VMP is essentially a Battle Systems MPIL that has been adapted to use on a vehicle’s visor. While it is specifically designed to be used on a visor, it can still be used in many of the same ways as the MPIL.
The VMP includes 2 different panels that mount to just about any visor that is at least 17″ wide via 3 included Velcro One Wrap strips. One panel has a blaze orange and violet color scheme with color matched loop Velcro fields. The other panel has an American Flag on one side and a black panel with 3M SOLAS tape square on the other.

Fight and Flight Tactical BLiSS
There are a lot of slings with a lot of features and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing if they are well made. However, when those features are poorly executed and unnecessary, they can have a negative effect on the reliability of something that should be pretty simple. When you think about, a sling really doesn’t have to do much. All it really needs to do is keep your rifle/shotgun tied to you and that is exactly the thinking behind the Fight and Flight Tactical BLiSS.
The BLiSS isn’t anything truly new. It is a fairly basic single point sling that has a handful of attachment options and a removable airmesh pad for comfort. This sling is a throw back to simpler slings that served their purpose without a bunch of potential failure points. It doesn’t do much because it doesn’t have to.
