Beez Combat Systems Hydration Carrier Short

The Camelbak Antidote hydration bladders are pretty slick. The short version is extremely compact and requires a dedicated hydration carrier to get the most out of it which is exactly what the new BCS Hydration Carrier Short is built to do.

The Hydration Carrier Short is designed to be a simple carrier that capitalizes on the benefits of the Antidote carriers, namely their smaller size and increased stability thanks to its center baffle. It’s shorter height makes it ideal for use on armor and plate carriers. It has a wide (5 columns) PALS field on the back so that it is extremely stable when attached to its host.

The Hydration Carrier Short has a large hook and loop secured flap with a massive loop field for affixing patches and ID. It also has a drainage grommet and internal webbing to serve as an adjustable hanger.

As with every piece of BCS gear, it is available in a ton of color options including the Kryptek and A-TACS camo line ups, Multicam, Woodland and more. Check out the Hydration Carrier Short.

Troy BattleRail Delta – Mid-Length

I am a big fan of FSB cutout rails like the FSP rails from Daniel Defense and the Troy BattleRail Delta. I have always wished that someone would bring out a mid-length version. Apparently Troy read my mind because the Mid-Length Delta BattleRail is now available.

The Delta BattleRails are unique among free float rails because they require ZERO modifications to the rifle to install. They can be installed without removing the front sight base, hand guard cap, and delta ring assembly.

If you prefer to have a fixed front sight base like me, but also like the slim, rail-free lightweight rails that are currently en vogue, you will probably love these rails. If you are issued a rifle that you cannot modify, this could be a great solution.

Inspiration from a Bug Bite – The Fight and Flight Tactical TASK Story

The TASK from Flight and Flight Tactical is an absolute smash hit. Fight and Flight Tactical is selling them as fast as they can make them – maybe faster. I asked Dave Watson, head honcho at Fight and Flight Tactical, about it and he let me in on the back story which is a bit different from most that you hear in this industry.

Fight and Flight TASK

The TASK wasn’t the result of a special operations small unit purchase. It wasn’t the result of some kind of military funded study on the effectiveness spacer mesh on the exfoliation of dead skin cells. No, it was the result of a bug bite.

Dave had a mosquito bite that he had already scratched until it was raw. So, to scratch another, he grabbed a scrap of mesh in his shop. The moment he used it inspiration hit like a fifty caliber projectile. The TASK was born shortly after.

I told Dave he needed more bug bites and he informed me that he had plenty from working in his garden. It sounds like Fight and Flight Tactical won’t run out of inspiration any time soon.
