Ares Gear just announced the first in their Aegis series of belts. These belts retain the same stiff scuba webbing that Ares Gear is known for but introduce a new, proprietary buckle. The buckle is made from stainless steel and is secured via a beefy pin. This buckle makes the belt easy to thread and it looks great. The production version of the buckle will be metal injection molded and will be available around January of 2014.

Double D Armory is offering AR-15 upper and lower receiver sets with very slick looking and unique camo finishes. These camo patterns are actually mil-spec hard anodized which should make them extremely very durable.
Their desert pattern looks great and they are working on a (you better sit down) a tiger stripe pattern. They are also working to bring matching handguards to market to finish off the camo look.
I don’t know of anyone else who is able to get this much detail in a hard anodized finish. I’m impressed. Check out Double D Armory.
