Grey Ghost Gear LightWeight Assault Pack Mod 1

Grey Ghost Gear made an already lightweight pack even lighter. Their new Lightweight Assault Pack Mod 1 uses a proprietary diamond pattern, ripstop, nylon to shed about 30% of the weight of the regular Lightweight Assault Pack. The Mod 1 is nearly identical to its heavier (though still lightweight) forerunner but it does away with the clips used to attach to other bags or plate carriers. It is available in black, gray, and Multicam.

The main compartment is secured with a full length zipper to give easy access. The interior features several mesh pockets and elastic organization.

The JED Bail Out Bag comes with a shoulder strap with removable pad.

Grey Ghost Gear and Noveske Team Up

Noveske and Grey Ghost Gear sitting in a tree… K I S S I N G! It looks like Grey Ghost Gear and Novekse Rifle Works are gearing up to make some beautiful music. Noveske AR-15 upper receivers are already available at Grey Ghost Gear but what I am really looking forward to is seeing the exclusive tactical gear that is created for Noveske.

From Grey Ghost Gear…

How do you determine the value of badass2? Can it be reckoned, or is it incalculable?

You’re about to find out.

Grey Ghost Gear (which is bad ass) has teamed up with Noveske (which is equally bad ass). How bad ass is that?

Effective immediately, Grey Ghost Gear will be carrying Noveske uppers and soon you’ll be seeing complete rifles.

Asked to give some background to the relationship between the two innovative companies, GGG Despotrix-in-Charge Lindsey Lea advises, “The love story began with my very first SHOT Show ever. That’s where I met John and Sheri. We’ve been friends since then and now that that Grey Ghost has decided to carry weapons, Noveske was the obvious choice—both out of our respect for John and of course for the obvious fact that they’re superb rifles.”

Buyers will see a Noveske tab on the Grey Ghost website from which to choose from a variety of Noveske models, including the Infidel, Rogue Hunter in 16” and 18”, some of the 10” uppers in both 5.56 and 300BLK and others.

Noveske Rifle Works’ Sheri Johson echoes Lea’s sentiment. “The people at Grey Ghost Gear are some of the best I know, really,” Sheri says. I’ve been a fan forever. When they came to me about high quality AR parts…well, it was obvious we were going to do it.”

Rumor has it Grey Ghost Gear may reciprocate by building a Noveske-specific line of gear like concealed carry messenger bags, a 3-gun setup and the like. You’ll want to watch for that.

Fans of both GGG and Noveske are also well advised to keep an eye on both companies’ social media. There will be a joint giveaway soon involving both Facebook pages and possibly Instagram—prizes will be Noveske uppers and GGG goodness.

Grey Ghost Gear Exclusive US Distributor for Karrimor SF

This is exiting news. Thanks to a deal that has been a long time coming, Grey Ghost Gear is now the exclusive US distributor for Karrimor SF products.

Karrimor SF Hydro 30

From Grey Ghost Gear:

At long last, Grey Ghost Gear’s offering of packs built by the UK’s Karrimor SF is finally available! No longer will end users in the US need to order it from across the pond and have it shipped back here (or trade off some of their own kit to the Brits in a deployed location). We’ve got them on hand, in several types and multiple colors, with more to come.

Karrimor SF has been in existence since 1995. It is a direct descendent of the original Karrimor brand that has equipped British soldiers and adventurers since the end of WWII.

Based in Exeter (Devon, UK), Karrimor SF’s gear has fought insurgents and Taliban since OEF and OIF started; it has also literally climbed mountains, gone on safari or otherwise adventured on every continent in the world. The KSF brand was conceived by innovator and designer Deric Gollop and the KSF team, who used contemporary technologies and developments from the civilian world to build specialty packs for military Special Forces (such as the SBS, SAS, SRR and others) and law enforcement units—not unlike what Grey Ghost Gear has been doing here in the US.

“It was a natural fit,” says Grey Ghost Gear’s Director of Business Development Lindsey Lea. “It took nearly a year and a half to get it done, but the Karrimor SF packs are in stock and ready to ship—and so we’re clear, there’s no need to worry about quality. If having the UK’s forces torture test this stuff in Iraq and Afghanistan wasn’t sufficient, we’ve been abusing our own samples in the field. They are good to go.”

Grey Ghost Gear is the exclusive US distributor of Karrimor SF products. Their packs and LBE are built in Vietnam to exacting British MoD (Ministry of Defence) standards, supervised by KSF personnel who live on site. You can see the entire line of packs here.

“You won’t have to drink tea and crumpets or call it a bergen to wear Karrimor SF,” Lindsey says. “No scones or Earl Grey or funny accent required—just a desire for well built, field-proven gear.”

Now is your chance to get to know the UK’s premier tactical pack maker without going through the headache of importing one of their packs. Check out the Karrimor SF line at Grey Ghost Gear.
