Recycled Firefighter – The Chief Everyday Carry Backpack

You may know Recycled Firefighter for their wallets made from reclaimed firehose material but they have been pushing into new materials and new gear beyond just wallets… way beyond just wallets. Their upcoming Everyday Carry Backpack called the The Chief will feature a heavy dose of Recycled Firefighter style along with a heaping helping of durability.

The Chief Everyday Carry Backpack will be constructed from black 1000D Cordura Nylon with various accent colors/materials. There will be at least 4 versions available initially including Coyote Roughout Boot Leather with Multicam Accents, Black Combat Boot Leather with Multicam Black Accents, Tan Boot Leather with MulticamArid Accents, and a Bunker Gear version. All versions will have the same organization and construction features.

The bag has a zippered slip pocket on the front behind the accent panel. The main compartment is accessed via a #10 YKK zipper that allows full, lay-flat panel loading. Inside the main compartment you’ll find 2 organizer pockets and a laptop sleeve. The shoulder straps are 3″ wide at the top so that they don’t have to be bulky in order to support weight. The straps, back panel, and bottom all use 1/2″ closed cell foam for padding and the bag features a sturdy grab handle.

The new Rapid Deployment Buttstock Tourniquet Holder covers the TQ with a neoprene sleeve. It attaches to your rifle (or other items) via easy to use and secure bungee straps with toggles. The back of the holder is lined with rubber grip material that prevents the holder from moving around on the buttstock.

THIS IS SPARTA! – Range Drill of the Day from Telluric Group

Telluric Group’s Range Drill of the Day is a resource that you should be leveraging in your own training. If you are local to the Brunswick, Georgia area, you can become a member of the Telluric Group range and shoot the drill of the day there. If you are not local or can’t make it to their facility, you can view the drill of the day and print a free target online.

Today’s drill is called THIS IS SPARTA! Remember to close the drill by yelling “THIS IS SPARTA!” It helps if you do it loud enough for your shot timer to pick it up.
