Austere Provisions Compacy CORE Panel

The CORE Panel from Austere Provisions Company is a simple concept (the best concepts are simple). It is small MOLLE compatible panel that can serve as a stand-alone organizer or a drop-in organizer for other packs and bags.

Mike has shown earlier prototypes of the CORE panel before but this new one has one obvious and exciting change. It uses Blue Force Gear’s MOLLEminus Technology!

In addition to the MOLLE fields on each side, the CORE has an internal pocket. Its height is similar to a chest rig or PC cummerbund so most standard pouches will fit it well.

Before you ask… The FDE Sentinel Designs Glock Magwell shown in the pic was part of a special run. There are no plans to offer them in the near future.

MOLLE Safe Panel from Wilde Built Tactical

Wilde Built MOLLE Safe PanelSpace is often at a premium in a gun safe. The MOLLE Safe Panel from Wilde Built Tactical can help you get organized.

Wilde Built Tactical custom makes these panels to your dimensions. The panels feature full coverage with MOLLE webbing. They are made from 1000D nylon with a Velcro backing and grommets if you choose to mount the panel with screws.

If you are like me, and already have a ton of MOLLE pouches laying around, this can help you organize both the pouches and the small gear that tends to clutter your gun safe.

LensLight KO Weapon Mount

LensLight, makers of premium focusable flashlights, is introducing a new weapon light with tons of potential. The KO Weapon Mount will have the same aspherical lens system for which their KO line of lights are well known. This system allows the user to adjust the beam from an extremely tight, focused throw beam to a broad wall of light that can light an entire room. That means this light has the potential to go from long distance target identification to room clearing with just the twist of the bezel.

It will boast a 440 lumen output from 2 CR123 batteries. LensLight wisely designed their weapon light to use Surefire Scout series mounts which means there are already a number of mounts available.

The KO Weapon Mount will be available soon. Check out Len-Light.com.

Focused Impact from Tuff-Writer and Martial Blade Concepts

Tuff Writer

Tuff-Writer and Martial Blade Concepts (MBC) have produced a DVD that gives the viewer some techniques that can be used with “tactical pens” or really just any pen. Michael Janich of MBC provides nearly 2 hours of content relating to using a pen as a defensive tool. It is nice to see a company doing more than just calling their pens tactical and actually providing some form of training along with the pen.

Fenix HP25 Headlamp

Fenix HP25

The new Fenix HP25 lets you choose between a flood beam, a throw beam, or both at the same time. It has 2 independently controlled Cree XP-E LED emitters, both putting out up to 180 lumens each (total of 360 lumens). One of the LEDs sits behind an optic that creates a flood beam while the other sits behind an optic that creates a tighter throw beam. When used together, the beams give you the best of both worlds.

The HP25 runs on 4 AA batteries which are carried in the rear mounted battery compartment. It has 4 output levels on each side: Low (4 lumens), Medium (45 lumens), High (90 lumens), and Turbo (180 lumens).
