Raine Inc. has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their new MOLLE Cover for Tubes™ Cummerbunds. The covers have a number of functions including adding back the MOLLE real-estate lost to the Tubes hardware as well as protecting the hardware.

5col Survival Supply is developing a survival kit designed specifically to fit the Hill People Gear Kit Bag. The kit features quality components from Solkoa Survival Systems, Aquamira, UCO, and more. Given the versatile load carrying capability of the Kit Bag and it’s ability to stay with the wearer even when they have to drop their pack, I am surprised there hasn’t been other similar kits developed.

Custom gear makers provide a valuable resource to shooters. You’ve heard me say things like that before. It is nice knowing that when you have an idea for a gear item that just doesn’t exist, there are craftsman out there who can make it a reality.
This custom chest rig from Gear Dynamics is a great example. The customer is a competition shooter who wanted to be able to mount pouches at an angle, presumably to enhance the speed at which the contents of those pouches could be accessed. Something like this chest rig could probably be pieced together with a regular chest rig and a handful of adapters but it would never be as sleek as this purpose built, custom piece.
