Bastion Braza Bro

Bastion’s Braza folder has been one of their most successful designs to date. So much so, that they have created a much smaller, even more EDC friendly version called the Braza Bro.

The Braza Bro has all the sleek curves of its big brother but it is barely larger than a house key when folded. In spite of its small size, Bastion still managed to shoe horn in a ton of features that set this apart from most keychain knives. It is deployed via a flipper and the 2.12″ D2 steel blade rides on a ceramic ball bearing pivot. The Brazo Bro is held together with stainless steel Torx fasteners. It can be carried on a key chain via the included lanyard hole or in your pocket with the stainless steel pocket clip.

There just aren’t many knives this size with these kinds of features. Check out the Brazo Bro on Kickstarter.

Wndsn Acrylic Telemeter Pendant

You’ve seen Wndsn’s incredible low tech calculation tools on these pages before. They have created a variety of tools that calculate distance based on trigonometry, convert between MOA and MILs, and more… all without the need for moving parts or batteries.

Their newest tool, the Acrylic Telemeter Pendant is based on a Viking design. It allows the wearer to determine distance based on sighting objects of a known size while holding the pendant a specific distance from their eye.

This is one of Wndsn’s first acrylic tools and it has a unique feature that takes advantage of this optically clear material. There is a slot in the Telemeter Pendant that is sized to accept miniature glow sticks. The glow stick illuminates the markings on the Telemeter Pendant, allowing it to be used in low light.

The Hook from Spiritus Systems

It’s just an HK style snap hook attached to some hook and loop material but the Hook from Spiritus Systems might be the handiest piece of gear you’ll see all day. The hook allows you to quickly retain and retrieve gloves, hearing protection, chemlights, fuzzy dice, or anything else with a built in loop (or a loop that you add yourself).

If you are using the Hook with a Spiritus Systems chest rig, you simply affix it to the hook field on the back of the chest rig. This would also work with just about any chest rig that uses the SwiftClip method of docking on a plate carrier. Speaking of plate carriers, it could also be sandwiched into your plate carrier’s cummerbund. It could also be added to a loop field inside a backpack or any number of other places.

ESEE HM Series Kydex Sheaths

The HM series of knives from ESEE are similar to their staples like the ESEE3, 4, and 6 but with modified handles that allow greater control while using the knives. Previously, these knives were available only with leather pouch sheaths but ESEE has now introduced a kydex sheath option.

The new HM series kydex sheaths are currently available with the HM series knives. They may be available for purchase separately at a later date.
