RS Regulate AK-301M + AKML or AK-303M + AKR in Limited Edition Hardcoat Anodized Colors

RS Regulate is offering two of their most popular AK side rail mount combinations in some VERY limited edition colors – hard anodized Wasteland or Desolation. There are two mount options: AK-301M + AKML (for Micro Aimpoints and similar) or AK-303M + AKR (for use with scope rings).

If you have ever dealt with colored hard anodized finishes, you know that matching colors is difficult. Only these two mount options are available so that the colors can be matched between the upper and lower parts of the mount. Only 50 sets of each combination are available so you will need to act fast if you want one.

TOPS Knives Hammer Hawk Updates

TOPS Knives let us in on a couple of upgrades that have been implemented on their Hammer Hawk. They are now applying an improved radius to the upper steel portions of the tomahawk. These areas are meant to be gripped by the user when they are choking up to perform finer tasks. The new radius ensures that the Hammer Hawk is more comfortable to hold.

They have also applied the same radius to the corners of the hammer. This helps reduce cosmetic deformation when striking hard objects.

New RIP-M Quick Detach Push Button Mounting Straps from Grey Man Tactical

Grey Man Tactical’s RIP-M (Rigid MOLLE Panels) have been available and improving for some time now. The latest addition to the line makes the panels easy to install on a typical car seat and gives them the ability to be removed at the push of a button.

The new Quick Detach Push Button Mounting Straps feature D-rings at one end for affixing to the head rest posts of most front car seats. Installation is accomplished by removing the head rest, passing the post through the rings, and then reinstalling the head rest. The opposite end of the straps features QD sling swivels that attach to the RIP-M itself and allow the panel to be removed quickly. The straps are constructed from nylon webbing with triglides so that they are adjustable for length.

Cloud Defensive Optimized Weapon Light – Now Even More Optimized

Cloud Defensive continues to improve their Optimized Weapon Light (OWL). They have given us a sneak peek of the production version that will be 1.2” shorter and 4 oz lighter than the prototype that has already been shown. It will also be powered by the now ubiquitous and potent 18650 rechargeable battery (with no CR123 battery option). Outputs and runtimes are still being tweaked but you can expect somewhere north of 1400 lumens with very impressive runtimes.
