The Magpul RSA is now shipping. The RSA is a forward sling mount that is purpose built to work with the Magpul MS2 sling but it will work with similar slings like the Emdom Gunslinger as well. It provides an attachment point for transitioning your sling quickly from single-point configuration to two-point configuration. It is low profile enough and light weight enough that it won’t get in your way when not in use.

I am trying to find that out. I know a few people locally with MS2 slings. Hopefully they will pick up an RSA.
I just pre ordered through AIM Surplus for this. I had been eyeing VTAC’s Low Profile Sling mount but the RSA has a lower price point. Apples & Oranges but the similarity is that it mounts on the top and one can use an HK hooked sling. Doesn’t have to be a Magpul MS2/3 sling.
Crazy – we just called Magpul last week and were told they still aren’t available. We’ll have to double tap on Monday. We have had some of these on pre-order since they originally made the announcement (yes, months and months ago). 🙂
