TOPS Knives Camp Creek Fire Edition

The original Camp Creek was designed as a hunting/camp knife and was the first knife TOPS made using CPM S35VN steel. It has been one of the best-selling hunting knives produced by TOPS to date.

The Camp Creek Fire Edition is meant to be a separate option from the original Camp Creek, but Leo designed it by starting with the original and making a few changes he thought would give people another option that is still similar.

It has more belly and a less pointy tip. So skinning is a dream. You don’t have to worry as much about puncturing a hide and you can get long, smooth cuts. The handle has been widened and adjusted to give the user more purchase specifically for skinning animals. Both versions serve similar purposes in different ways, and both are a great addition to your collection.

TOPS Knives Silent Hero 4

The Original Silent Hero designed by Anton du Plessis was intended to be used as a bush/defense knife for guys that he was training to fight rhino poachers in Africa. It was wildly popular and still is to this day. The Silent Hero 4 is a smaller version of that blade that would still be great in a fight, but has a more standard EDC size, making it even easier to carry for everyday use. It will be an excellent knife for bushcrafting. You are going to love the Sniper Grey coating and ergonomics on this one.

TOPS Knives Hornero – Full Control on an EDC Blade

Usually, smaller blades can handle just about any cutting task you might come across. From food prep, to fire prep, and many other things in between. Sometimes though, you want a full-sized handle on your knife, especially if you’re going to be using it for a while. That’s where the Hornero comes in. It was designed by Tomas Reynoso from Argentina to be an EDC knife. A “full-sized” black and tan canvas Micarta handle provides an excellent grip for the 3” sheep’s foot-esque blade. Finished with a simple Kydex sheath and belt loop, the Hornero is a great everyday option.

New from TOPS Knives: The Trail Seeker and Storm Vector

TOPS Knives has released two new models – The Trail Seeker and the Storm Vector. Both of these knives have interesting backstories. The Trail Seeker is the latest knife to come out of their employee design competition, a competition that has already produced other successful designs. The Storm Vector is based on the history-rich, Viking Seax with a dash of modern reinterpretation.

Trail Seeker

The Trail Seeker is a product of TOPS’ 4th employee contest to design a knife to be put into production. This year, it was Luis Murillo, who is the Kydex manager at TOPS. His inspiration for the design was as simple as it gets. Make sure it has a comfortable handle – with a bit of a guard and a nice swell – a simple, effective blade design with a good pointy tip, and a Kydex sheath that makes it easy to wear the knife on your hip every day. Get yours today and you’ll see that he nailed it.

Storm Vector

Just like Grandpa always had his trusty pocketknife handy, the same can be said for the Vikings and their Seax. With a blade that is over a foot long and a ¼ inch thick, the Storm Vector is capable of handling anything from small tasks around camp, to clearing brush on the back 40. This “broken back” style Seax is sure to make light work of whatever you bring it up against.

Although not very practical for EDC nowadays, during the Viking Age you never would have left home without it.
