My all time favorite low-profile patch is back in production. These Jed Eckert & Associates patches have been out of production for several years. The original was embroidered but now they are back in a PVC format. If you wear this patch on your EDC bag and someone notices it, they can probably be your friend.

Patch Collectors take note. OC Tactical has just rolled out their new Door Banner Morale Patch Panel and a new color option, Foliage Green, for all their patch panels.
OC Tactical’s patch panels are now available in Foliage Green. The new color shows the same attention to detail as the Black, Coyote 498, and Multicam panels with seamless Velcro front and matching bound edges.
The new Door Banner Morale Patch Panel is just what it sounds like – a panel with a vertical, rectangular shape so that it can be hung on a door. It’s dimensions are 18″ x 36″ so it should work on an interior door or even a large gun safe door.
OC Tactical’s patch panels aren’t the least expensive option due in large part to the materials that go into them. They use a single massive piece of Velcro brand loop material in either Coyote Brown or Multicam to create the front of their panels rather than a series of strips like on other panels. That material is expensive due to its size and color. Thankfully, they recently found a way to reduce costs for a one time deal.
They were able to source some loop material that is similar in color to Coyote Brown but lighter. OC Tactical is calling it Rusty Tan. The material is real Velcro so the same quality that you expect is there. The lower cost material allows them to pass on a lower price to you… a significantly lower price. The Grande Patch Panel is just $23 and the Mondo Patch Panel is $36.
