OC Tactical Cat Trap
When it comes to gear, the simplest designs are often the best designs. The new Cat Trap from OC Tactical is definitely a simple design.
The Cat Trap is a MOLLE compatible C-A-T Tourniquet holder that mounts vertically or horizontally with an optional adapter. It consists of a small panel and shock cord. The side of the panel that faces the tourniquet has a section of non-slip material sewn on to improve grip on the tourniquet. The panel is attached to the PALS webbing via shock cord which allows you to adjust the retention and is easily field replaceable.
If you prefer to mount your tourniquet horizontally you can purchase the optional Cat Trap Horizontal Adapter. The adapter is made from Hypalon material so it is thin and lightweight.
The result of the Cat Trap’s simple design is that it weighs very little, it is field repairable, it can be tightened to be nearly completely flat when it isn’t in use, and it is very affordable. Check out the Cat Trap at OC Tactical.
Hearing Protection Cover Updates from OC Tactical
OC Tactical makes a lot of different gear but they are probably best known for their Hearing Protection Covers. They get a lot of questions regarding whether they still make them because they are never in stock on their site. The answer is yes, they do still make them… a lot of them in fact. They do a run of them every week. The demand is so high that they have trouble keeping up with just the inquiry emails.
The bad news is that, in the near term, the covers are still hard to get your hands on. The good news is that OC Tactical is exploring various ways to speed production and get these into your hands. Stay tuned for details.

Red Tac Gear 1/2 Pint Bean Bag
Sometimes smaller is better. The Red Tac Gear 1/2 Pint Bean Bag has all the functionality of a larger precision shooting bean bag but it is very compact and easy to carry (4″x3″, 1 lb).
