Sneak Peek: Hard Point Equipment/Max Venom Product Group Collaboration Knife

Max Venom Product Group and Hard Point Equipment will be collaborating on a new knife design. The knife will feature many of the same design and manufacturing processes utilized in Hard Point Equipment’s Manticuda Knife. The image below represents one of the first steps in the process. It will eventually be translated into a 3D model which can then be used to code for machining.

This knife is recognizable as a Max Venom design from across the room. It’s straight lines and slightly dropped/offset blade echo their previous designs like the Dimachaerus. This will be one to watch.

Keyrambit Friction Folder Insert For KeyBar

When you look at a KeyBar you see a great way to carry, organize, and silence keys. When C Despins of Max Venom looks at a KeyBar he sees a chassis for a folding karambit. If you follow Max Venom, this is not a surprise.

The Keyrambit Friction Folder Insert For KeyBar turns your KeyBar into a folding karambit. The kit comes with a folding finger loop and hooked blade. Both the blade and loop are made from 154CM steel. This setup “locks” via a friction lock design which means the blade has a protrusion coming from its base that is locked in place by the user’s palm when the knife is gripped.

TAC-TOPS Karambit

I was just lamenting the fact that I wasn’t born with 6″ long retractable claws. Fortunately, TOPS Knives has a fix for that. Their new TAC-TOPS Karambit is the closest thing a human can get to a retractable claw.

It has cutting edges, strategically placed striking surfaces, and basically hurts no matter which part of it contacts an opponent.

The TAC-TOPS may not be for everyone but it is a sight to behold. Check it out at TOPS Knives.

The PKM from Max Venom

What do you get when you splice the DNA of a karambit and a pikal knife? Something pretty wicked like the PKM from Max Venom.

PKM stands for Pikal, Karambit Mix and it is a pretty good descriptor of what the PKM is. It features the distinctive finger ring of a karambit with the reverse edge that is typical of a pikal design.

This design is basically a response to those who want a larger version of Max Venom’s fairly well known karambit-based last ditch knife – the Karambite. Like the Karambit, the PKM is designed to be slim and easy to conceal at just 6.625″ of overall length. It is ground from S35VN steel and comes with a compact kydex sheath.
