Henry Holsters AIWB Foldover Holster

There is a new AIWB (appendix inside the waistband) holster on the market. Our friend and Hoosier Kydex bender extraordinaire, Henry Holsters, has created this new holster with a host of slick features.

Henry Holster AIWB Foldover

It looks like a simple foldover style holster because… well, it is. However, that simple appearance belays a very cool feature that is only apparent when you take a closer look. The holster has a sort of ramped protrusion on the back (the part against the wearer) that Henry Holsters calls a “Multi-angle Kick” that pushes the muzzle out slightly which in turn draws the grip in to improve concealment. The AIWB Foldover also features 2 flexible Pull-the-Dot snap belt loops and a large sweat guard that is cut to allow a full firing grip.

It is available for the Glock 17/22. Longer holsters tend to work bettet to anchor an AIWB holster and better with the Multi-angle Kick, so this same holster will be used for the Glock 19/23 and 26/27 as well.

AGS/Henry Holster Lo-Profile Chest Rig, PMAG-Gen. 2

It’s finally here! I have been keeping an eye on this one for a long time now. The recently mentioned AGS/Henry Holster Lo-Profile Chest Rig, PMAG-Gen. 2 is now available and I can share some additional details.

This chest rig is a true collaboration. The Boltoron (thermoplastic like Kydex) body of the chest rig is made by Henry Holsters. The straps are manufactured by OSOE and the rig is assembled and distributed exclusively by AGS Armament & Consulting.

The chest rig is relatively unique in that is made from thermoplastic and inverted (magazines hang below the rig). These features serve a purpose as this chest rig is designed to function as a low-profile or concealment chest rig. The thermoplastic construction keeps it very thin and the inverted design allows the wearer to reach under the covering garment to access magazines.

The tension on each of the two magazine carriers is adjustable. All the hardware on the body of the chest rig is stainless steel.

The AGS/Henry Holster Lo-Profile Chest Rig, PMAG-Gen. 2 is available only at AGS Armament & Consulting.

Henry Holsters Low-Profile Chest Rig – Exclusively from AGS Armament & Consulting

Henry Holsters is an Indiana based Kydex bender who makes some of the nicest hybrid IWB holsters around. They have been working with the good folks at AGS Armament & Consulting LLC (also Indiana based) to create what they are calling the Low-Profile Chest Rig.

I can’t give out a lot of details right now so consider this a teaser. Obviously, this chest rig is unique in a couple of ways. First, it is made from Kydex and second, it carries the magazines oriented “upside down”. This rig is extremely small and very lightweight. I am actually pretty fascinated by it and will probably have to pick one up to try.

Stay tuned for more pictures and details!

Henry Holsters OWBIWB

At Jerking the Trigger, one of our main missions is to shine the spotlight on small gear makers who are doing some really innovative stuff. I always encourage people to check out their local gear makers when they need something and many are surprised to find that there are people making great gear right in their own backyard. One such gear maker in my own backyard is Henry Holsters.

Henry Holsters makes several products (and they have a few really cool things in the works) but they are most known for their unique take on the leather/kydex hybrid holster. Every other hybrid holster design that I have seen has a kydex front with a leather back. The Henry Holsters IWB Hybrid has a full kydex holster that is then bolted to a leather backing. It is designed to give you the comfort of a leather holster with the full benefits of a kydex holster.

Henry Holsters can be reached via the Henry Holsters Facebook Page. Their OWB holsters are available from AGS Armament and their full line and product videos can be found at Decisive Action.

Before you buy your next piece of gear, scour your local gun boards and gun shops. You might just find a local maker that you can support.
