Gadsden Dynamics has had numerous requests for placard versions of their chest rigs and all those wishes are about to come true. They recently showed us photos of mountable placards based on their Underground Partisan and Minimalist Assault Chest Rig designs.

The chest rigs on which these placards are based feature four magazine pouches but the placards feature 3 to better fit the front of a plate carrier. The placards will mount via the industry-standard buckle spacing with hook and loop backing.

The new placards should be available very early in 2021.

We gave you a sneak peek of the of the Gadsden Dynamics ALPC Side Plate Pockets last month. They are now available to purchase.

The ALPC Side Plate Pockets are designed to be as thin as possible, while also providing excellent support for any 6×8 side plate (we highly recommend ShotStop Side Plates). The pockets are backed with spacer mesh for comfort and breathability. The cummerbund feeds inside between the laser cut MOLLE Cordura panel and spacer mesh (around the outside of the plate so it is pulled against the body). There are two strips of 1.5″ hook on the inside of the pocket that interface with the PALS loop panel on the ALPC MOLLE Cummerbund to secure it in the exact position you like.

Gadsden Dynamics gave us a preview of coming attractions. They are continuing to build up their line of modular options and accessories for their ALPC. The next accessories to be released will be a new PALS cummerbund that will be offered as an alternative to the current elastic cummerbund and a new side plate pocket. The cummerbund is laser cut to be fully MOLLE compatible and maintains the Tubes closure of the ALPC.

They have also developed a new side plate carrier that is compatible with both the current and new PALS cummerbund options. Gadsden Dynamics states that they spent a lot of time designing a side plate pouch that is as minimalist as it can be (as with all their gear) while still being able to bear the weight of the plate.

The new cummerbund and side plate pockets for the ALPC should be available within a week.

The ALPC is an extremely adaptable plate carrier from Gadsden Dynamics. The user can configure the carrier to meet their needs easily and quickly by docking a Front Base of their choice to the front plate pocket. These Front Bases are available in a number of configurations and the new 3R3P version is one of the most feature-rich and versatile options yet.

The 3R3P holds exactly what the name indicates – 3 rifle magazines and 3 pistol magazines. It features Gadsden Dynamics’ flexible elastic pouch design that will hold not only magazines but also similarly sized items like multiple tools, flashlights, radios, etc. The pouches lay mostly flat when not in use.

The 3R3P Front Base is available separately or as an option on ALPC purchases.
