ROSCH Works WL1 Available Soon

The ROSCH Works WL1 will be available soon. The WL1 is essentially a stand-alone version of the SL1. It utilizes the same head and tailcap with straight tube body rather than the SL1’s integrated front sight and mount. Since it shares the same head, it also shares the same specs (250 lumens, 50 minute runtime).

The new straight body will open up a new world of possibilities for the WL1. It is designed to be the perfect compliment to the recently reviewed SLM1 light mount and could also serve as a compact EDC light. ROSCH Works tells us we can expect to see additional accessories to expand the capabilities of the WL1 soon.

Peters Custom Holsters Pocket Protector

Rob Tackett of TacStrike and PFT worked with Peters Custom Holsters to develop the Pocket Protector – a kydex pocket holster for the Glock 42 and other pocketable handguns. The holster features an extremely minimalist design to minimize bulk. The bottom of the Pocket Protector is flat so that the handgun stays upright in your pocket and it has a large hook that is used to catch the holster on your pocket during the draw stroke.

PWS Modern Musket

PWS has teamed up with Modern Musket to release a line of direct impingement AR-15s under the Modern Musket name. These complete AR-15 rifles, pistols, and upper receivers will come ready to use and have a host of desirable features like nitride processed barrel, ALG QMS trigger, PWS muzzle devices and rails, a Lucid RDS, and the Modern Musket logo engraved on the magazine well.

Features and specs:

  • 500 denier Cordura nylon body.
  • Full loop Velcro face, perfect for mounting name tags, IR flags or morale patches.
  • 4 elastic loops: 2 sized for pens/markers and 2 for chemlights.
  • A separate 2″ elastic loop to secure a tourniquet.
  • Ambidextrous access and offset elastic loops that allow markers to be removed and reinserted from the side without opening the pouch.
  • Two inner pockets and a single outer pocket which can house anything from a small notepad right up to a full-size multitool.
  • 3 row and 3 or 4 column PALS profile.

Dead Coyote Tactical Nylon 6 Mag PC Panel/Micro Rig

Dead Coyote Tactical Nylon turns out piece after piece of drool worthy PenCott goodness. Their latest is this 6 Mag PC Panel/Micro Rig. It is designed to be used as a stand-along chest rig or be bolted on to the front of a plate carrier via the Swift-Clip system (or similar).

It would be a great addition to their low profile plate carrier which comes ready to accept the panel. This PC and the accompanying panel helps fills a real hole in the market right now for PenCott pattern armor carrying gear.
