Andy’s Leather 2 Point Standard Rifle Sling is on sale. This sling is one of the most versatile slings that Andy’s Leather offers. It can be used like a standard carry sling or a CW sling. If you are unfamiliar with the CW sling concept, think Ching Sling but without a rear attachment point and you will have the general idea.

These slings are affordable to begin with and especially affordable when they are on sale. $35 gets you a handmade sling with brass hardware and thick bridle leather. The buckles that Andy uses for these are the same as those he uses on his Rhodesian and Ching slings. They hold tightly but adjust easily, making it easy to set your length and forget it.

At the current time, production and stocking are ongoing and DIRECT ACTION® expects to have all products available on the webstore within the next 3-4 weeks. CRKT Forged By War Program

CRKT has started the Forged By War series of knives based on the work of Ryan Johnson, founder of RMJ Tactical. The series will consist of knives and tools designed by veterans and 10% of all sales of these knives will be donated to the veteran charity that the designer chooses.

The first three tools in this series were introduced at the 2016 SHOT Show and CRKT just released a series of videos that document the knives, the men behind them, and share more about the Forged By War program.

Keyrambit Friction Folder Insert For KeyBar

When you look at a KeyBar you see a great way to carry, organize, and silence keys. When C Despins of Max Venom looks at a KeyBar he sees a chassis for a folding karambit. If you follow Max Venom, this is not a surprise.

The Keyrambit Friction Folder Insert For KeyBar turns your KeyBar into a folding karambit. The kit comes with a folding finger loop and hooked blade. Both the blade and loop are made from 154CM steel. This setup “locks” via a friction lock design which means the blade has a protrusion coming from its base that is locked in place by the user’s palm when the knife is gripped.

SHTF Gear Protos Holster Updates

SHTF Gear continues to improve their Protos Holster and broaden the selection of compact handguns for which it is offered.

You may remember when this holster was introduced because of its clever trigger guard treatment. Kydex holsters (non-light bearing) typically retain on the trigger guard and this is what gives them their “click” in and “click” out. Kydex/leather hybrid holsters only retain on the kydex side of the holster which leaves them without the strong, tactile click of an all kydex holster. The Protos Holster solves this by wrapping the kydex completely around the trigger guard. This gives the strong retention of an all kydex holster and the comfort of a hybrid.

The Protos Holster is now available for three new models in addition to the original Walther PPSM2: Glock 43, S&W Shield, and XDs 3.3. SHTF Gear has also added a suede backing option for additional comfort.
