SOLKOA Survival Systems (S3) Hill People Gear Kit Bag Based Survival Kit

Hill People Gear’s (HPG) Kit Bag has had potential as a carriage option for survival kits since its introduction and now, years later, we are starting to see that concept come into its own… at least in a pre-packaged sort of way. SOLKOA Survival Systems (S3) is well known for their high quality survival kits in a modular format and soon they will be offering an entire modular kit pre-packed into the HPG Kit Bag.

These kits are not available yet but you can view other S3 modules on their website: www.fast-fire.com

Gadsden Dynamics Custom Wasp Rig

Have you ever looked at an offering from a gear maker and wished you could make changes or additions? Not every gear maker can accommodate those types of custom requests but Gadsden Dynamics can. They recently posted an image of a custom Wasp Rig that features the addition of shot shell loops across the lower portion of the rig.

If you would like to customize a Gadsden Dynamics product, get in touch with them at GadsdenDynamics.com.

Snake Eater Tactical IWB Mag Pouch Glock 42/43

You may already be familiar with Snake Eater Tactical’s IWB Magazine Pouch. These versatile mag pouches make use of elastic and hypalon construction to fit a wide variety of magazines. While they work just fine for shorter magazines like the Glock 43 (see our review), users requested a shorter version and Snake Eater Tactical delivered.

Snake Eater Tactical now offers the IWB Mag Pouch Glock 42/43 which is essentially a shortened version of the original pouch. As the name implies, it works with Glock 42/43 magazines but also with a wide range of other subcompact magazines.

Forward Controls Design CNF (Castle Nut, Forward Controls)

Forward Controls Design (FCD) has a knack for taking something good and making it just a little bit better. Their new CNF is a prime example. It is an improved castle nut that is machined from billet 4140PH steel and black nitride processed. It features 4 notches for staking (instead of just three) so that at least three of the notches will be accessible when the castle is torqued. The notches are also deeper, allowing for more secure and consistent staking.

FCD always does a good job of explaining the rationale behind their designs so be sure to check out the CNF at ForwardControlsDesign.com for more details.
