Mountain Ridge Gear Bravo Pack

It boggles my mind that so many people still don’t know about Mountain Ridge Gear (MRG). Their bags are some of the most finely crafted pieces of nylon gear that I have ever laid hands on and their organization features are always very useful. MRG recently gave everyone a sneak peak at their second backpack design – the Bravo Pack.

The Bravo Pack is 16″ tall x 5 1/2″ deep x 11″ wide. It has adjustable shoulder straps and PALS webbing on the front admin pouch and one side. The other side features a mesh pouch with an adjustable opening that can carry a water bottle or serve as a dump pouch.

MRG’s gear is rugged enough for any application and has such great organization features that they excel at EDC. The Bravo Pack is not available yet but you should check out MountainRidgeGear.com anyway.

Camaraderie HiViz tacStrips from JAVRAN

JAVRAN already makes their reflective HiViz tacStrips in a number of handy sizes and colors. Now they are introducing some Camaraderie editions to recognize several different first responders and organizations.

The reflective patches will feature a colored line on a black reflective backing.

  • Thin Blue Line — Police
  • Thin Red Line — Firefighters
  • Thin Orange Line — Bounty Hunters
  • Thin Silver Line — Corrections officers
  • Thin Yellow Line — Security Officers
  • Thin Green Line — Federal Agents, and park rangers
  • Thin White Line — Emergency medical services (blue with white line)

ECHO NiNER Dee Lux Camera Strap

ECHO NiNER (E9) just released their third camera strap and it is their most feature rich strap yet. The Dee Lux Camera Strap has many of the features of their Original Camera Strap but takes the comfort a step further with a large padded section that also has webbing attachment points for items like the previously reviewed E9 Mini Flat Pouch. It also features a Velcro panel on the padded section for displaying credentials, ID, or morale patches.

The Dee Lux Camera Strap has the ability to be converted into a hand strap like the Original Camera Strap. The hand strap configuration is also useful for attaching the strap to the shoulder strap of a plate carrier.

Like the previous E9 Camera Straps, the Dee Lux is made from mil-spec materials and available in Black, Coyote, and Multicam colors.
