S.O. Tech Viper Pack

FUPA-flyer-version2

Check out this sneak peak of the new Viper Pack from S.O. Tech! The Viper pack is similar to the ESP but larger and without the front pouch. It is a lightweight 3 day size pack that folds into a pouch that can be mounted on the back of a plate carrier. If you don’t need the pack, you can keep it folded and attached to your PC. If you do need it, you just unzip the single zipper to deploy the pack.

The Viper Pack will be debuting at CANSEC in Ottawa this week, Wednesday and Thursday.

Add a Bright-Strike APALS to your Battle Systems MPIL

The Battle Systems MPIL continues to evolve into one of the most full featured and complete visual signaling systems available anywhere. The latest addition to the system is the APALS from Brite-Strike. The APALS is is a compact (.25″ thick), lightweight (less than 1 ounce), LED light that is the perfect size for securing to the 2″x2″ loop field on an MPIL. The APALS gives MPIL users a visible light signalling option that can be seen from up to a half mile away or that can serve as an emergency light source. With its 80+ hour runtime, the APALS will last you several nights of continuous signalling.

Battle Systems adds adhesive Velcro to the back of each APALS. They are available in a variety of light colors including IR for LE and MIL buyers. Check out the APALS at Battle Systems.

Integrate the Ares Armor Combat XII Pack with a UW Gear Chest Rig

UW Gear Swampfox MKII

UW Gear Swampfox MKII

Domari Nolo Outfitters released a video (below) that shows how an Ares Armor Combat XII Pack can be integrated with UW Gear Chest Rigs. They use the MEC version of the Combat XII Pack from PredatorARMAMENT and the UW Gear Swampfox MKII chest rig but this should work with any version of either product.

The combination of the Combat XII Pack and Swampfox MKII chest rig offers some nice functionality. The Swampfox MKII is a split front chest rig, so the entire set up can be donned and doffed like a vest. The Combat XII Pack gives the wearer the ability to carry up to 6 spare magazine, 2 hydration bladders, and more. The integration of the 2 items looks very seamless. This is an impressive combo!

Haley Strategic Partners D3 Chest Rig as a Backpack Compression Panel

Extreme Gear Labs shared these photos on their Facebook Page. They show a Haley Strategic Partners D3 Chest Rig attached to the compression straps of a 3 day style backpack to serve as a compression panel. This is a handy trick that should work with a number of different chest rigs and a number of different packs as long as the buckles match. In this configuration, the user can use the chest rig to stow compressible items like outerwear.

Eggroll is a pretty clever dude.
