Beez Combat Systems (BCS) just rolled out their new SPT Special Pistol Threat Low Profile Plate Carrier, an armor carrier designed around special pistol threat plates. These plates are extremely thin and light so BCS was able to design a carrier that is low profile enough to conceal under a t-shirt.
The SPT Special Pistol Threat Low Profile Plate Carrier features an elastic cummerbund to reduce bulk around the midsection to a minimum. The purchaser can chose to have the carrier built with or without cummerbund flaps at the time of purchase. If you need the most secure closure possible, order with the flaps. If you need the lowest profile, order without the flaps.
The shoulder straps are adjustable via hook and loop. Strap extend out of both the front and back plate pocket. The front flaps can be laid over the back straps and secured with the hook and loop. This creates a very low profile strap that is also adjustable.
While the SPT Special Pistol Threat Low Profile Plate Carrier is designed around thin and light pistol threat plates, it also works with many AR500 steel rifle plates. BCS claims it is the lowest profile steel plate carrier available.

BCS constructs these carriers from 500D Cordura nylon to fit with their mission to stay trim, light, and concealable. The carrier has a loop material field on the front plate pocket to be used for patches and ID when worn visibly. Flimmur Tactical, out of the UK, is preparing to offer the first production run of their Ultimate Dump Pouch. This dump pouch combines a number of useful features into a lightweight package.
This pouch is designed to packed very small and expand to a larger size. The buckle that is used to secure it into its compact, folded form is an ITW repair buckle so that the user can easily replace it or remove it all together. When the pouch is expanded, two bellows sewn into the face of the pouch ensure there is plenty of room for those last few magazines.
The pouch’s face and back are constructed from Multicam Litelok material. The sides and bottom are mesh. This keeps weight to a minimum and allows the pouch to shed dirt and moisture.
The Ultimate Dump Pouch has a HDPE stiffened back plate that gives structure to the pouch. It can be threaded onto a belt or mounted directly to PALS webbing.
It also features an adjustable opening.

The new RE Factor Tactical Armboard is designed around Magpul Dynamics’ Precision Rifle Quick Reference Cards. It features two viewable windows for storing your most relevant cards. One window is viewable when the Armboard is closed and the other is viewable when it is open. The remainder of the cards can be secured on the included bendable loop.
The Armboard is constructed from lightweight, ripstop 70D nylon with a Hypalon backing. It has two elastic straps for securing the Armboard to your arm.
