Sneak Peek: Gadsden Dynamics US Made Athletic Shorts… WITH BELT LOOPS!

You can spend a lot of money on special holsters to carry your self defense gear while you exercise… or you can just wear a belt! Gadsden Dynamics gave us a sneak peek of a project they are working on – athletic shorts with belt loops!

The new EDC Fit shorts are made in the USA. Gadsden Design sends them out for screen printing and then adds the belt loops in their shop. The belt loops will allow you to make use of your regular belt and holster while you run, lift, swing kettlebells, or what ever else you do to stay fit.

Sagewood Gear Pack Strop

The Pack Strop from Sagewood Gear is a compact, double sided strop. As you might guess from the name, this compact strop is designed to be easy to carry in a pack for use in the field. It is about 5.5″ x 1.25″ in overall size and constructed from 1/4″ Walnut oiled wood with 6 oz leather pads.

The Pack Strop is available with bare leather or pre-loaded with black (aggressive) and green (fine) stropping compound.

Persec Gear Apple Watch Band

Persec Gear’s Apple Watch band is coming soon. The band is constructed from 1″ webbing in all the colors of the tactical rainbow and then some. It features a sewn in lug to attach to the watch. The webbing is then fed through the other lug and adjusted via a metal triglide. The result is a slim, lightweight band that should take whatever you can throw at it.

More Intel on the Upcoming Hill People Gear Capture Flap

Hill People Gear added the Capture Flap to their website after last week’s tease. It can not be ordered yet but we now have a new image of the back/connectors and a more complete understanding of its features.

From Hill People Gear:

The Capture Flap is a PALS cut, beaver tail style accessory, that can mount to any HPG pack and packs of other manufacturers. You can mount PALS pouches on the front, and either PALS or velcro pouches on the back.

The Capture Flap is mounted via G-hooks that connect to the webbing tabs on our packs. The top of the flap comes with an adjustable amount of webbing to loosen or tighten the flap against the pack.
