If you have followed JTT for long, you know I am a sucker for pocket tool rolls and have reviewed several in our series on small tools – The EDC Tool Roll. So, I am understandably excited to see what Exotac will bring to the table with their toolROLL.
The toolROLL is designed to carry fire-starting tools, especially those offered by Exotac. However, thanks to its flexible pocket design, it should be able to carry a variety of items. It features a hook and loop closure system with wings on the side to ensure items aren’t lost from the ends of the roll. It has 5 elastic slip pockets and 5 mesh pockets.

THYRM has launched its newest battery storage solution, the CellVault-18. Modern flashlights require a lot of power and the industry is moving beyond the CR123A cells that have been standard for so long. Rechargeable lithium batteries like the 18350 and 18650 are the new industry standards.
Fortunately, the new CellVault-18 can hold them all. It can hold a single 18650, 2x 18350, or 2x CR123A. It is IPX7 water-resistant and features a clear window so that the user can tell at a glance if it contains batteries. As with other CellVaults, it can be attached directly to PALS webbing.
Javran makes functional, stylish, and bomb-proof nylon gear. Nobody plays with color and camo patterns as well as they do. Garage Built Gear is set to release a new bag with a lot of organization potential. The Qube will be a loop lined bag with padded internal dividers that the user can configure to suit their needs. The Qube is designed to be used as a range bag or camera bag but it should be flexible enough to serve a number of purposes.
The bag features a flap style pocket and a large grab handle on the exterior. It features a full clamshell opening via a double zipper to access the padded, loop-lined interior with mesh pocket. The Qube will be available a ton of colors for the 1000D Cordura exterior and feature a visibility pack cloth lining.
