Tease: Ballistic Advantage AR-15 Lower Receivers

We still haven’t seen the full potential of the recent Aero Precision acquisition of Ballistic Advantage but we are about to get a little bit more of a glimpse of it. Ballistic Advantage will be releasing their own lower receivers shortly. This makes perfect sense considering they were acquired by a group with plenty of experience making uppers, lowers, and working as an OEM.

I can’t help but think this is just a preview of things to come. It seems to me that complete firearms can’t be too far behind since we know that they already have the required resources. As an owner of 2 Ballistic Advantage uppers, I hope that also means that they will offer complete upper receivers again soon.

Keep your eye on Ballistic Advantage’s website for interesting news. I expect there will be a lot it in the near future.

New Lower Price on KCT ECPT

Kinetic Concepts Tactical’s (KCT) Enhanced Combat Pull Tabs (ECPT) are Kydex replacements for the typical pull tabs found on magazine pouch bungee retainers. Because they are made from Kydex, they can be shaped to promote a positive grip and can be color matched to almost any camo pattern.

TOPS Knives Mil-SPIE Elite

The new TOPS Knives Mil-SPIE Elite is based on their previous Mil-SPIE 3 model. The Mil-SPIE 3 is ground from 154CM stainless steel while the new Mil-SPIE Elite is ground from 1095 carbon steel. The new model also sports a tan powder coat finish and your choice of black linen micarta or tan canvas micarta scales.

The Mil-SPIE Elite is 3/16″ at the spine but it’s tall flat grind tapers down to a very usable cutting edge. The dropped point blade shape makes it very versatile and the thin handle scales make it easy to carry close your body with the included Kydex sheath.
