UW Gear just posted this image of one of their Minuteman MKII chest rigs in the Hyde Definition PenCott GreenZone pattern. The rig makes use of the new PenCott printed webbing (except for the pull tabs on the flaps which contrast for visibility). The PenCott family of patterns continues to grow on me every time I see them.

New Finish Option for the FOSSA-556
I recently reviewed the FOSSA-556 – a muzzle climb reducing flash suppressor from White Sound Defense (WSD). WSD is known for using premium materials and finishes on their gear and the original FOSSA-556 is no exception. It is made from 17-4PH stainless steel with a titanium aluminum nitride surface coating. Those materials and finishes can really add a lot of durability and functionality to their product but they can also add cost which is why WSD is now introducing the FOSSA-556 with a simple black oxide finish at a lower price.
You can pick up both versions of the FOSSA-556 at CPWSA.com.
Echo Nine Three Seat Belt Sling
Like your slings simple? I have good news. The Echo Nine Three Seat Belt Sling is now available!
The SBS is a simple strap style sling. It is adjustable for length via a triglide and has CLASH Hooks at each end for attaching it to your rifle. The most unique thing about the SBS is that it is sewn from 2″ wide seat belt webbing. This makes it about as comfortable as it can be without padding and just about bombproof.
The initial run of the SBS is available now in Tan and Black at Echo93.com.
S.O. Tech Viper Pack
Check out this sneak peak of the new Viper Pack from S.O. Tech! The Viper pack is similar to the ESP but larger and without the front pouch. It is a lightweight 3 day size pack that folds into a pouch that can be mounted on the back of a plate carrier. If you don’t need the pack, you can keep it folded and attached to your PC. If you do need it, you just unzip the single zipper to deploy the pack.
The Viper Pack will be debuting at CANSEC in Ottawa this week, Wednesday and Thursday.
Mad Blacksmith City Dweller Pen-Cap Lanyard System
The Mad Blacksmith City Dweller Pen-Cap Lanyard System is a solution for discreet knife carry. It is knife lanyard that terminates with a pocket a clip that looks like the end of a pen. You attach it to the lanyard loop of your knife and then clip the end to your pocket. It allows you to keep your knife completely out of sight but relatively quickly accessible by pulling the cord.
The Mad Blacksmith City Dweller Pen-Cap Lanyard System is available in a number of different finishes. Check out the Mad Blacksmith City Dweller Pen-Cap Lanyard System at BladeHQ.com.
