FACTR USA has a new way to carry a tourniquet. Their new FACTR TQ Card is laser cut from 6Al4V (Grade 5) Titanium and uses 1/8″ shock cord to retain a RATS TQ in a compact, organized, and easy to access way. The entire package with the TQ loaded is compact enough to easily fit in a pocket.
You may remember the excellent and now discontinued THE-E Pocket Organizer . It was a collaboration between Cdh-Tac Finland and OV Innovations (Oneiros Valley at the time). OV Innovations is apparently playing with that design again to simplify it for ease of production because they shared some pictures of a potential update.
The teaser images (below) are of a prototype but the THE-E lineage is clear. The size and shape appear to be similar. The exterior zippered slip pocket is retained and the internal organization loop layout has been updated.

You’ve likely heard by now that ATF and DOJ have withdrawn their letter on stabilizing braces in which they sought to heap additional vague “guidance” on braced pistols. That is a battle won for sure… but the war is not over.
Ivan at Kit Badger recently posted a video that makes the excellent point that this is the perfect time to press for more oversight and even the abolishment of the ATF. Now is not the time to bask in a small win and wait for the next time the ATF threatens to turns us all into felons for owning something that was purchased legally. Now is the time to keep up the press. Now is the time to make sure your representatives know what that ATF has been up to and to urge them to action.
This small victory on stabilizing braced pistols is fresh in our minds but it will likely be very short-lived unless we keep up the fight.
Gadsden Dynamics has had numerous requests for placard versions of their chest rigs and all those wishes are about to come true. They recently showed us photos of mountable placards based on their Underground Partisan and Minimalist Assault Chest Rig designs.
The chest rigs on which these placards are based feature four magazine pouches but the placards feature 3 to better fit the front of a plate carrier. The placards will mount via the industry-standard buckle spacing with hook and loop backing.
The new placards should be available very early in 2021.
