Countyline Quilt Company Multicam Quilts

What happens when you combine ripstop 57/43 NYCO Extreme Multicam material, Polartec 200 fleece, and intricate machine quilting techniques? Well, you end up with something that is quite beautiful, functional, and really cool.

Countyline Quilt Company started offering their Multicam quilts on internet gun forums. The idea blew up from there and now they have launched dedicated social media sites just for their Multicam Quilts. Who wouldn’t want an heirloom quality quilt in an iconic camo pattern?

They use ripstop 57/43 NYCO Extreme material for the top layer. This material is not as well known as the 50/50 NYCO used in many uniforms but it is much softer while still offering excellent durability. Countyline Quilt Company then bonds warm Polartec 200 fleece to the back of the quilt with a beautiful pattern of stitches. The edges are then bound to prevent fraying.

These are made in the USA from USA made materials. They are about 65″ X 84″ (custom sizes may be available by request).

Forward Controls Design RHF

Forward Controls Design’s (FCD) new RHF rails are manufactured by CMT. The rails are based on the UHPR Mod2 but with some changes based on FCD’s input.

FCD’s changes include:

  1. Omission of QD swivel attachment points to allow the user to place their own sling attachment point.
  2. Barrel cooling vents changed to the classic round shape to pay homage to Knight’s Armament’s RAS and RIS where meaningful modular revolution began.
  3. Simplification of the already understated aesthetics of the CMT UHPR Mod 2 handguard.

The RHF rails start life as 6000 series extruded aluminum which is then machined to its final shape. The barrel nuts are machined from 7075 aluminum and the mounting hardware is 17-4 PH stainless steel.

The RHF rails feature M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock with a full length top rail. They have anti-rotation tabs.

Blue Force Gear Tracer Pack – Now Available

Blue Force Gear has previewed the latest DAP Pack, the Tracer, at various trade shows and now it is available to purchase. This pack is aimed squarely at the EDC market with the features, functions, and military grade durability for which the Dapper compatible DAP packs are known.

The latest in the DAP Pack line – the Tracer™ Pack is a full featured, Dapper™ compatible EDC (Every Day Carry) pack that is perfectly suited in the car, at the office, in class, or in the back of an MRAP.  The Tracer Pack allows you to carry all your essentials with the pack as it is or enhanced with the modular Dapper pouch system.

Starting with the outside – the Tracer is slightly bigger than the Jedburgh™  pack.  Keeping with the Jedburgh styling – a fully MOLLE compatible panel is on the main front pocket, but unlike traditional MOLLE – the MOLLEminus panel looks like a style element typical in modern packs but can be quickly used for additional MOLLE pouches or a Trauma Kit NOW!™   The inside of the pocket is loop lined and can be used with DAP Loops or other smaller Dappers.

On either side of the main pocket are two water bottle pockets constructed of Tweave – a durable 4-way stretch fabric used on our PLATEminus™ armor carriers or more commonly seen in football jerseys for its lightweight strength.

Towards the top is a zippered pocket for quick access items – perfect for going through security lines at the airport! This area of the bag usually has less stress or impact from the contents of the pack.

The main compartment features an integral padded laptop sleeve on the back capable of holding most 15” or smaller laptops.  The laptop sleeve, the sides, and the front flap are all loop lined to mount various Dappers that are available for purchase separately. This allows you to add pouches and other Dappers to keep your gear organized securly and can be quickly removed or swapped with other Dappers.

The bottom of the pack features a double layer of ULTRAcomp® – a high-performance laminate that provides superior wear and water resistance over other materials – the same battle-proven material used on armor carriers, magazine pouches, and gear pouches worn by the nation’s finest warriors.

As with all Blue Force Gear products, the Tracer Pack is made in the USA with excellence and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
