Midwest Industries just took the “Cowboy Assault Rifle” concept to a whole new level. Their upcoming M-LOK rails for Marlin lever action rifles come with plenty of mounting real estate for optics, slings, and lights. These rails were designed with hog and dangerous game hunting in mind but I suspect they will see broader use than that.
Stay tuned for pricing and availability information.
Thats a great thing for a lever gun especially for states like NY or MA that restrict ARs & AKs. Ive never been a fan of lever guns but this forces me to see them as more practical.
As a resident of Californistan where our rights continue to diminish, this appeals to me. I love my AR, but the ridiculous modifications I will need to make to remain legal are really unappealing. I want to not comply, but I also don’t want to be a felon. This is a good option.
I’ve always wanted a lever gun, this just makes them more funnerer.
Giving new meaning to “Redneck Assault Rifle.”
Jeff Cooper always saw the lever action 30-30 as a viable defensive rifle. I think he would have loved this modification. You dont need to live in a resteictive state to need a lever gun, traveling through or visiting one of these states justifies a TLG (tactical lever gun)
